McKendree University, Illinois first college, is located in Lebanon, Illinois, just 23 miles from downtown St. Louis. The Accelerated Instruction with McKendree (AiM) program is designed for students whose work and personal commitments make them unable to attend the Lebanon campus. AiM PROGRAM ADMISSION 1. Apply - www.mkckendree.edu/aim Complete the FREE application for admission 2. Send transcripts - Request official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended be mailed to the address below 3. Financial Aid - Apply for financial aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov 4. Review evaluation of transfer credits with AiM staff Have official transcripts mailed to: McKendree University Office of External Programs 701 College Road Lebanon, IL, 62254 ACCREDITATION The AiM program is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and approved to operate by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. CLASS FORMAT Classes meet one evening per week from 5:30pm to 10pm for 8 weeks in a blended format, alternating between online and in-class time with a McKendree instructor. By taking two courses per 8-week term the program can be completed in two years (some online only courses may be necessary). McKendree University also offers its BBA degree fully online. Online only courses have an additional $60 per credit hour fee. Students enrolled in McKendree s AiM program are eligible for a variety of financial aid including: Federal Pell Grants Illinois MAP Grants Federal Subsidized Stafford Loans Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loans Corporate Tuition Assistance In many cases, the loans will cover the entire cost of the program. Courses are individually evaluated to determine which are transferable and what requirements have been met. In most cases, credit is issued for courses that have an equivalent to those at McKendree. Transcripts will be evaluated by the Office of Academic Records and the Division Chair of the department. Official transcript evaluations are completed once you have been accepted to McKendree. AiM staff can provide you with an unofficial evaluation at your request. Please note the following: Only courses with a letter grade of C or better may be accepted in transfer.
