1 University of Mount Olive Tillman School of Business October 28, 2014 This document prescribes how a student may transfer from the North Carolina Community College (NCCC) system to the University of Mount Olive (UMO) in order to complete a four-year degree in business. The requirements are divided into three areas: 47 hours of General Education Requirements (GER), as outlined on page 1; 13 hours of electives, which are selected by each individual student; and 66 hours of business curriculum, as outlined on pages 2-7. The total hours required in order to transfer from NCCC to UMO and graduate with a degree in business is 126.
2 Complete 47 hours as outlined below plus an additional 13 elective hours of your choosing (60 hours total). This satisfies the General Education Requirements (GER) for the University of Mount Olive and enables you to transfer in with junior status. Once you arrive at the University of Mount Olive, it is recommended that you follow the suggested class schedule according to your degree program, as outlined on pages 2-7.
