Sevetee miistries of the Govermet of Idia, icludig Miistry of Labour & Employmet (MoL&E), Miistry of Huma Resource Developmet, Miistry of Micro, Small ad Medium Eterprises, alog with the NSDC, are presetly egaged i differet traiig iitiatives with the combied target of skillig 500 millio people by 2022. Withi this 500 millio, the madate of the MoL&E is to skill 100 millio people. The MoL&E has bee at the vaguard of skill developmet-related measures i Idia maily through the establishmet of Idustrial Traiig Istitutes (ITIs) across the coutry to provide traiig i a wide rage of vocatioal trades i order to esure that idustry gets skilledmapower at all times to carry out its activities.
