GENERAL INFORMATION Language Registration Form Technical Equipment Congress Venue Organising Secretariat Certificate of Attendance How to reach Como Transfer The official language of the Workshop is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided. The registration form is included in the programme. The Workshop will be limited to 200 participants. Participants will be selected on the basis of their professional curriculum vitae which should be sent together with the registration form to the Organising Secretariat. Participants will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their registrations. PC projection will be available. Presentations on CD or USB memory stick should be handed to the audiovisual centre at least one hour before the relevant session. The scientific sessions will be held in the Congress Centre of Villa Olmo, Via Cantoni, 1 - Como The Organising Secretariat will operate in Villa Olmo on the days of the Workshop from 8.00 am on 24 February until the end of the scientific sessions. Upon request, the Organising Secreteriat will provide participants a certificate of attendance. Como is easily reached by plane as it is close to the Milan Airports of Malpensa and Linate. A bus service connects Linate and Malpensa airports to the Central Station in Milan. Buses also connect Milan Malpensa directly to Como. Como also has very good rail connections to all major European cities. A frequent train service connects Como to Milan in approximately one hour, or Switzerland daily. By car, take the A9 motorway in the direction of Como and leave it at the Como Nord exit (Monte Olimpino) or Como Sud exit (Grandate). Follow the signposts to Villa Olmo. Parking is available in Villa Olmo. A bus shuttle will be provided from the hotels in Como to Villa Olmo and back. 7
