BARBARA POLITO Co founder - CEO 42, consultant, has been working on real estate asset management since 1994 and real estate finance since 1999. Until November 2008 she was Director at The Carlyle Group in the European real estate team focused on asset management, refurbishments and value-added projects of Carlyle investments in Italy. Prior to join Carlyle, she was in charge of business development of Pirelli RE Group for the property management company. Before that, she worked at BNP Paribas REIM SGR (formerly BNL Fondi Immobiliari SGR pa) within the Asset Management division. She started her. carrier as consultant in the field of asset management and information system for real estate management. Since 1997 she is a lecturer at Politecnico di Milano for Master in Real Estate Management and Executive Course; since 2006 also at SDA Bocconi and MIP Politecnico di Milano for Master in Real Estate and since 2011 at SAA the Business School of University of Turin. She has written a book on real estate information system and various articles on asset and property management. Barbara Polito has a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano followed by an Executive MBA at MIP, the Business School of Politecnico di Milano. She speaks Italian and English. She was promoter, founder of AREL Associazione Real Estate Ladies in 2006 and she served the association as President. In July 2009 she was elected FRICS, eminent member of RICS Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
