The first 30 days after a hospital stay are critical to a full recovery. When you are discharged from a hospital or skilled nursing facility, our nurse will call you to: Make sure you have the medications you need and that you know how and when to take them Explain the signs of possible complications or worsening symptoms so you get the help you need Follow up with your doctor as appropriate 11
