Service A Service loads when a machine is started and runs even if the computer is logged off (but still running). It doesn t require a user to login to the program to start the application. A Service has the same restrictions like users have in terms of security. That is determined by what user you assign to the service. This Service talks to SQL as that user. For the Servicee to run to perform the backup, select the authentication settingss to allow access to the databases being backed up. Service login as : Local System Select to provide full system and administration rights on the local machine. Network Service Select for general network authentication. Server Ideally, this backup program will be installed on the server where VCK SQL is installed. However, if it is on another server within your network, then here is where you select the server with the databasess that you wish to backup. Also, select if the authentication type. If using SQL authentication, you will need the VCK usernamee and password. Backup Backup of your SQL databases can occur on the schedule thatt you decide, and also, at the time of day that you decided.
