Our role in society has evolved from number crunching to trusted business advisors, and community leaders. This is the message that we must convey to all. We need to ensure that the public is very aware of our value proposition and our brand, and can do so by effectively leveraging the strengths of our legacy associations. Council s focus should always be to protect the interest of the members, the profession and the public. The greatest challenges remain maintaining the integrity and high standards of the audit and oversight mandate, as well as ensuring our members/students have relevant market-facing skills to support the evolving role of Finance.
