TRENDS WITHIN THE PARTNER COMMUNITY Partners are investing heavily in SAM right now! SAM departments are growing and partners are hiring The trends goes towards SAM as a service - hosted solutions integrated in the SAM Service The partners that can show the best SAM service and value to the customer will win the deal (both VL and SAM) Important to have a SAM driven growth plan in place Invest in SAM knowledge

TRENDS WITHIN THE PARTNER COMMUNITY SAM is getting more specialized and customers have higher demands towards the partner delivery SAP, Oracle, IBM, DC, etc. Who is auditing? What vendors? The trend is that partners know Microsoft and Adobe but have less or bad control and knowledge about SAP, Oracle and IBM We can see that there are new partners coming in to the market that advice customers in amore specialized way KPMG, E&Y, Deloitte, CAP, Accenture etc.

TRENDS WITHIN THE PARTNER COMMUNITY According to Gartner - By 2018, the SAM skills shortage will make 50% of organisations who have implemented, or are currently implementing SAM dependent on managed SAM services. By 2017, enterprises will spend 10 times more on software asset management services Shrinking software reseller margins and vendor subsidization of SAM/audit activity are driving resellers to increase both value-added and paid-for SAM services, giving software asset managers access to SAM services with a relatively low cost entry point SAM is now seen as strategically important to many resellers' businesses, with SAM tool vendors such as Snow running extensive partner programs. TRENDS WITHIN THE PARTNER COMMUNITY My recommendations (three things to remember) Knowing SAM gives you an advantage towards other partners Become a Snow Software Gold Partner in order to market your knowledge Be transparent with Snow Software in order to close more deals together!
