Program of study The Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in ERP using SAP Software is a 40 credit hour program offered online through CMU's Global Campus. Students will receive a solid, applied core in business functions plus value driven courses using software in the widely used enterprise system SAP. SAP is the world s largest business software company and delivers a comprehensive range of enterprise software applications and business solutions used globally by businesses of all sizes. SAP is used by 38,000 fi rms in more than 120 countries. According to a recent survey of graduates of CMU s business programs, the overall starting salaries of graduates with training using SAP software were as much as $10,000 higher than that of graduates without SAP training. Why? Companies using SAP need employees trained to take full advantage of SAP s considerable capabilities. This program will give graduates a valuable skill set that will help them add more value to their organizations and to distinguish themselves. These graduates will understand how SAP s best practices will integrate their business processes across functional areas. Degree Content This accelerated program is composed of thirteen courses in three areas: 1. Core courses 9 core courses in business administration 3 credits each 8 week courses 2. Courses using SAP software 3 courses Enterprise Systems for Management using SAP Software Confi guration and Implementation for Global Systems using SAP Software Business Intelligence using SAP BW 3 credits each 8-week courses Note: Courses using SAP software will be continuously revised to insure that the latest version of SAP material is being taught. 3. MBA Project 4 credits This course will be fulfi lled by students passing the SAP Academy and writing a paper. SAP Academy - TERP10 mysap ERP Certification - Integration of Business Processes This intensive 2-week SAP Academy will give MBA students the value-added opportunity to pass an SAP examination that will culminate in TERP10 mysap ERP certifi cation - Integration of Business Processes and inclusion in an SAP database of those who are TERP10 certifi ed. Because of the comprehensive nature of this material, this course is taught face-to-face at a selected site. This 2-week course is the only portion of this MBA program that will not be taught in an online format. In addition to obtaining industry recognized certifi cation, students who successfully complete the SAP Academy can use the work completed in the Academy to satisfy the MBA Project requirement along with a written paper. Successful completion of the Academy is achieved by passing the SAP-administered test that is given at the end of the academy. Students who do not pass the SAP Academy exam can retake the Academy at a later scheduled date or undertake a supervised project. Both of these options will require the students to re-register for another 4-credit hour MBA Project course at additional cost.
