BME Smart-Cl 1. Intrductin The aim f this dcument is t describe the BME Smart-Cl service fr accessing BME Cash, BME Derivative markets and market data feeds. Smart-Cl service prvides at the BME Data Center the space (racks) and the cmmunicatin infrastructure the participants need t install their trading sftware and hardware cnnected t the cash and derivative markets. Smart-Cl service is ffered in the same BME Data Center where the Hsts f the Cash and Derivative markets are lcated. The technical infrastructure in place guarantees the same quality f access fr all participants. The BME Data Center meets the highest standards f safety and reliability. Redundancy is prvided with generatrs, UPS rms, electrical panels, air cnditining, etc. Smart-Cl is a slutin ptimized fr clcating trading applicatins, built and managed by BME. 2. Features f the Smart-Cl Service The Service is aimed at the fllwing entities (hereinafter Participants ): A) Market Member with a Certified Applicatin fr trading in SIBE. B) Member f MEFF C) Entity which fulfils the requirements set by BME Market Data and which has been granted the crrespnding authrizatin t receive the cntracted infrmatin service. The Participants shall be able t install their wn infrastructure r their Clients equipment in their racks. In this last case, BME shall cnsider the Clients equipments as if they belnged t the Participant. The Participants may nt rent the cntracted racks t third parties. Market Data (BME Market Data)) On a first stage, each market participant shall be ffered up t 2 racks. Once the requested racks have been prvided, space will be assigned n a first-cme-first-serve basis until the available space is full. The racks in which the Participants will install their equipment will belng t BME. The fllwing ptins will be available: Full Rack, 60 x 120 cm, 42 Us; 2x32A ½ Rack 60 x 120 cm, 23 Us; 2x32A (shared) The installatin f the equipments shall be carried ut either by BME staff r by the Participants wn staff r by its hardware prvider subject t the prir apprval f BME. Exceptinally, access f Certifying Entities authrized by BME shall be permitted s as t cnfirm the terms in which the installatin has been carried ut. The Smart-Cl service will prvide cnnectivity nly t markets frm BME main Data Centre; that is, cnnectivity frm a Disaster Recvery site will nt be ffered. Crss-Cnnects The Participants will be allwed t cnnect their equipments with thse belnging t ther Participants. Every crss-cnnect will first need t be evaluated and authrized by BME. 3. Overview As per the diagram abve, BME Data Center is divided in tw different areas by the Demarcatin Line : The upper area fr BME systems fr Cash, Derivatives and Market Data (BME Systems), and the lwer area with the space fr c-lcatin in which the racks with the Participants equipments are hused. BME netwrk links bth areas, cnnecting the Participants equipments with BME systems main netwrk hardware. All netwrk hardware and electric pwer supply are redundant. The Participants equipment will be cnnected t BME Main Switches. Racks cnnectin with BME Systems: It will be perfrmed by means f same-length cables s as t assure the same physical distance fr all Participants. Bandwidth: 1 Gbps. The Participants may install lines t manage their wn applicatins installed at the Smart-Cl. These lines enabling the Participant t have remte access t their equipment will be the sle respnsibility f the Participants. Madrid, 03/06/2013 4/6

4. Installatin prcedure The Participants will send its equipments t the site indicated by BME. In case the Participant designates BME staff fr installing its Equipment, it will need t prvide detailed instructins s as t achieve the crrect installatin f the same. The Participant may access the Smart Cl area slely by means f its wn engineers r hardware prvider subject t the prir apprval f BME. Equipment Installatin: Phases Phase 1 Once the Husing Agreement has been signed, BME will ntify the Participant f the date in which the rack with the requested technical features will be available. Once the rack is available, the Participant shall annunce with sufficient time in advance the delivery f its equipment. BME will manage the receptin and transfer f the delivery t the Smart-Cl area. In the case the Participant has requested BME t install its equipment, BME engineers will install the equipment in the assigned rack fllwing the instructins prvided by the Participant. Alternatively, BME will accmpany the authrized Participant representative wh will undertake the installatin and wh shall be previusly annunced. The Participant will be respnsible fr rdering the lines which it may need fr the remte access f its equipments at the Smart Cl. BME will supprt the carrier in the installatin prcess f these lines and will install the crrespnding cables up t the Participant patch panel. Phase 1 will cme t an end nce the Participant has achieved remte access t its equipment. The same prcedure will be fllwed in case f replacing r renewing the equipment. Phase 2 In Phase 2 internal cnnectivity services frm the Participant equipments will be perfrmed based n the service which the Participant is requesting (access t the market, infrmatin services, crss-cnnect with anther Participant). Once the services have been set up, a test will be perfrmed s as t cnfirm that the Participant achieves access t the cntracted service, in which case Phase 2 shall cme t an end. 5. Maintenance and Supprt The basic Hands and Eyes (Remte hands & eyes service = H&E) peratins that BME has undertaken t carry ut are as fllws: Physical shut-dwn and start-up f the equipment. External examinatins and checks f the Equipment f the Client and cmmunicatins equipment, LEDs, display messages, etc. T manage access t the centre and t accmpany Authrised Individuals when the latter require access t the Data Centre. Examinatins and checking f the netwrk cables. H&E team will be available frm 07:00 until 21:30 (lcal time) n wrking days. During this time frame emergency wrk rders will be received by telephne r by e-mail. The installatin f the equipments (excluding cnnectivity services t BME) can be carried ut between 17.30 and 21.30 n wrking days, subject t prir ntificatin. Cnnectivity services t BME Systems will be perfrmed between 20.00 and 21.30. Wrk rders different frm thse indicated abve r t be perfrmed utside the time frame indicated, will need t be ntified at least 48 hurs in advance. Wrk rders t be perfrmed during the week-end r during a public hliday will need t be scheduled at least ne week in advance. Madrid, 03/06/2013 6/6
