Colocation Services Footprint or Rack space - subdivided into 10U lockable ¼ racks, each includes 8 Amps DC power Mast space available at Maputo and Dar Es Salaam CLSs A & B Feed -48V DC Power backed by in-line battery banks & generators for continues power supply in the event supplier cut. VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Alarm), or similar fire detection system, backed by an FM2000 fire suppression system N + 1 environmental control facilities to maintain a controlled environment. 24/7/365 hr manned security with electrified fencing and armed response. Inter-facility Cabling and Fibre Access Cross Connects are connections of SEACOM Equipment, Customer Equipment or third party equipment with SEACOM equipment within the Co- Location Site. SEACOM provides connections to SEACOM capacity at no charge to our Customers. Interconnections are connections between Customer Equipment and other Customer Equipment or third party equipment. SEACOM Equipment Cross Connect Customer Equipment/ third party Interconnection Fibre Access allows customers to connect their equipment to their terrestrial backhaul networks. SEACOM provides a common ODF in the station as well as fibre between this ODF and the SEACOM backhaul manhole external to the cable station facility. Customers may then access the backhaul manhole and connect to this fibre for entry into the station.
