Workday Integration Cloud Connect With Workday as the core system of record, companies need to connect to multiple third-party systems and applications to satisfy key business functions and processes. Workday provides a variety of infrastructure and tools designed to address these integration challenges, including a robust web services-based API and the Integration Cloud Platform. Integration Cloud Connect rounds out Workday s integration solutions. Integration Cloud Connect represents a portfolio of integration connectors and toolkits designed to help extend Workday applications by providing pre-built connections to third-party applications and services. Each integration is deployed in the Workday cloud, which provides all the benefits of a fully hosted and managed application. Customers can enjoy integration solutions that are versioned and stable, as well as kept up to date with the latest infrastructure, tooling, application, and vendor changes (where applicable). Integration Cloud Connect simplifies and accelerates the integration process between Workday and other third-party systems. All content is managed, maintained, and supported by Workday (or by partners where the connector is partner provided). Key Benefits Workday Integration Cloud Connect consists of a growing number of pre-built connectors to complementary solutions that are 100 percent built, maintained, and supported by Workday: Rely on Workday to support, maintain, and evolve integrations over time Monitor and manage integrations in the Workday UI Eliminate the need to own or manage any on-premise integration middleware or servers Redeploy IT to focus on more strategic activities are pre-built integrations designed, implemented, and supported by Workday. They drastically reduce the time required to complete an end-to-end integration by providing the processing logic, data transformation, and error handling details needed to integrate a third-party party system with Workday. All connectors are configurable to accommodate differences in customer situations (such as customizations of your third-party system) and run in the Workday cloud, releasing you from the burden of having to maintain a separate integration infrastructure. are managed just like any other Workday application and are kept up to date with the same overall Workday update schedule. Updates include reacting to Workday core applications for compliance and additional application features as well as updates to the latest tooling and infrastructure. In addition, Workday works with third-party partners to manage a joint roadmap to ensure the integration is kept up to date as the third-party application evolves.

Toolkits Workday provides a collection of toolkits for speeding implementation to third-party systems. Each toolkit contains a collection of connectors for orchestrating an end-to-end integration, with the processing logic and error handling required on the Workday side of the integration. These toolkits include connectors to known and unknown third-party systems. For the cases where the integrated third-party system is unknown, customers are responsible for completing the integration by implementing the logic necessary to tie it to the thirdparty system. Customers also have the flexibility to customize the orchestration of services within the toolkit connector to match their specific requirements for the integration. Human Resource Management Cornerstone OnDemand complements Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) with learning management functionality provided by Cornerstone. From Workday, information about workers, job profiles, location, and organization structures are sent to Cornerstone and used to target learning assignments. Once a worker completes training or certifications in Cornerstone, the Workday talent profile is updated to reflect this information. It is then available within Workday HCM. Lumesse TalentLink complements Workday HCM with recruiting functionality provided by Lumesse TalentLink. From Workday, information about workers, job positions, and job requisitions are sent to Lumesse TalentLink to initiate the recruiting process. This information is kept up to date as changes are made in Workday. Once an applicant accepts a position, the information is then updated in Workday the applicant and employee are created, the employee s talent profile is updated, and the hire business process is initiated. Salesforce Chatter Connector enables customers of Workday and Salesforce Chatter to securely present information from a worker s Workday inbox directly in that person s Chatter stream. In addition to incorporating Workday information into Chatter, customer administrators will also be able to provision Chatter users directly from Workday for example, as part of the new hire on-boarding process. Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Connector complements Workday HCM by synchronizing Workday worker information to Kronos, which then allows worker access to the Kronos Timekeeper application. The integration is applicable to all Workday/Kronos joint customers regardless of the payroll system. Customers that use Workday Payroll can additionally take advantage of the Kronos Payroll Input integration to import the resulting time information back to Workday Payroll. E-Verify Connector complements Workday HCM with employment eligibility verification results from the E-Verify employment eligibility verification service provided by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Form I-9 data is submitted from Workday to the E-Verify system, which provides real-time verification results (including photos) back to Workday from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Social Security Administration (SSA) databases. Social Security Number Verification Extract enables customers to extract and verify names and social security numbers of employees with the Social Security Administration in the U.S. (typically used when completing W-2 forms). Background Check Connector enables customers to initiate a background check business process for candidates, applicants, and workers. Directory Service Connector is designed to connect to a third-party directory server of choice. This connector includes XML, CSV, and LDIF formats, and contains specific features to connect to both LDAP and Active Directory servers. Absence Input Connector streamlines and automates the loading of absence data from an external time keeping system into Workday. Cloud Connect for Benefits toolkit includes a catalog of benefit provider integrations that extends and complements the Workday Benefits application. With more than 160 providers in the catalog, Cloud Connect for Benefits covers a wide variety of benefits providers and formats (i.e., HIPAA-834), including: Medical, dental, and vision Flexible spending accounts Retirement savings plans Life insurance and AD&D Health savings accounts COBRA administrators

Cloud Connect for Benefits enables customers to make the best benefits choices by minimizing the integration costs associated with switching vendors during open enrollments. imported into Workday Payroll. Other features include outbound integration that forwards worker information from Workday to Kronos. Cloud Connect for LMS toolkit enables Workday customers to synchronize learning achievement data from an external Learning Management System (LMS) to update a worker s profile in Workday. Cloud Connect for LMS is a toolkit, providing a set of connectors necessary to orchestrate a custom inbound and outbound flow between Workday and the LMS system. Canadian Revenue Agency Tax Filling Connector automates the filing of payroll tax data with the Canadian Revenue Agency. Payroll Inputs Connector enables organizations with hourly workers to load a file of all worker hours into Workday for payroll. Payroll Connector allows customers to integrate Workday Payroll ADP Tax Filing Connector complements Workday Payroll with tax filing and W2 support provided by ADP Standalone Tax Filing Services. The integration supports periodic, quarterly, and annual tax filing. Ceridian Tax Filing Connector complements Workday Payroll with tax filing and W2 support provided by Ceridian Tax Filing Services. The integration supports periodic, quarterly, and annual tax filing. MasterTax Tax Filing Connector complements Workday Payroll with tax filing and W2 support provided by MasterTax Tax Filing Services. The integration supports periodic, quarterly, and annual tax filing. Check Printing Connector reduces the effort for creating custom check printing formats by enabling the creation of an out-of-box payment file in different formats (including XML and CSV) with selective fields chosen during configuration. Ceridian Print Service Connector complements Workday Payroll with check printing and outsourced banking services provided by Ceridian. ADP Check Printing Connector enables customers using ADP to connect directly to ADP s check printing services to format payment data for check printing. Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Connector allows time captured in the Kronos TimeKeeper application to be bi-directionally to any third-party payroll system. The payroll connector includes Workday HCM features that support data models required by external payroll systems. Country-specific templates are provided that include a majority of the integration work required, easing the configuration of the payroll interface to countries outside the U.S., Canada, UK, and France. The Payroll Connector also offers web services that identify and transfer only the Workday HCM events that affect payroll. With these configuration capabilities, Workday can streamline and simplify the complexity of integrating with external payroll systems. Additionally, the bi-directional nature of the Payroll Connector enables organizations to import data from a third-party payroll provider back into Workday HCM, providing a comprehensive view of payroll data across the global workforce. This new level of insight allows users to analyze data in support of more effective decision making, such as improving cash forecasting, comparing actuals to budget, optimizing pay ranges, managing allowances and overtime policies, and better understanding the true cost of workforces around the world. Cloud Connect for Third-Party Payroll toolkit includes multiple payroll partners that have solutions for countries across all continents. Integrations to Workday via the Payroll Connector for third-party are built and maintained by our partners, who also maintain any changes to the integrations. Financials Salesforce Sales Cloud Connector links Workday financial applications with Salesforce.com (SFDC). An opportunity that is created in SFDC is also created in Workday and tagged to a prospective customer. When an opportunity is closed in SFDC, a new customer and invoice are created in Workday (if needed). This invoice is automatically sent back to SFDC for visibility. Customers can track expenses against open opportunities in SFDC. Additionally, payments received and tracked in Workday are forwarded to SFDC where they can be used to track and evaluate the customer. Cybersource Connector enables Workday customers to accept payments from their customers via credit card. Cybersource is a PCI compliant third-party solution that manages credit card authorization and payments. Payments Connector supports a variety of payment protocols that allow you to make payments to any bank. While you won t see a list of named supported banks, the connector is designed so it can be configured (with no additional coding) to connect with any bank and includes cross-border support as well as international payments. ISO 20022 Bank Statements Connector supports importing bank statements compliant with the ISO 20022 standard. Currently it supports version 2 of the ISO 20022 Customer Bank Statement format. BAI2 Bank Statements Connector supports importing bank statements compliant with the BAI standard. Currently it supports BAI version 2. Payment Lockbox Connector allows importing Bank Administration Institute (BAI) lockbox data from any bank that can generate lockbox files in the Workday-defined file format. Cloud Connect for Financials Toolkit includes a catalog of bank payment and statement integrations that extends and complements the Workday financials application. With connectors based on industry standards in the catalog, Cloud Connect for Financials covers a wide variety of payment options and formats (including ACH, ISO 20022, BACS and BAI2). Cloud Connect for Financials enables customers to make the best integration choices by minimizing the integration costs associated with connecting to banks. ISO20022 Payments Connector supports international and domestic payments adhering to the ISO 20022 standard. It currently supports the Credit Transfer and Payment Status v2 and v3. Workday offers localization of this payment offering for UK, Australia, New Zealand and SEPA. ACH Payments Connector supports US domestic and cross border direct debit and credit payments. Currently it supports PPD, CCD, CTX and IAT SECs (Standard Entry Class Codes). BACS Standard 18 Payments Connector supports UK domestic direct credit payments over BACS using the Standard 18 format. Banks Statements Connector supports a variety of bank statement formats that allow you to import bank statements from any bank. Expenses and Procurement American Express Credit Card and Credit Card Transaction provide a simple way to import corporate credit card and credit card transactions for employees, which can be used in expenses or procurement. Bank of America SBF Connector provides a simple way to import corporate credit card (Visa and Mastercard) transactions for employees, which then can be linked to expense items. Citibank Commercial File Format Connector provides a simple way to import corporate credit card (Visa and Mastercard) transactions for employees, which can be linked to expense items. Supplier PunchOut Connector extends Workday Procurement by providing the ability to connect to any PunchOut-enabled supplier.

Supplier Network Connector provides a means for organizations that work with multiple suppliers to connect with any supplier network that leverages cxml (commerce extensible Markup Language) and Punchout. This enables organizations to use this network for transaction processing to multiple suppliers. Travel Booking Connector enables customers to load travel booking data into Workday, providing a unified view of corporate travel booking data, credit card data and expenses reported directly in Workday. Job Profile and Job Family Connector provides a means to synchronize job profile and/or job family data with external systems. Positions Connector provides a means to synchronize position changes between Workday and external systems. Talent Profile Connector standardizes the configuration of relevant records from third-party systems to update training, competencies, and certification records on a worker s Worker Profile. Directory Service Connector connects Workday to LDAP Custom Development Custom Development connectors provide organizations and system implementers a rapid, flexible, and easily repeatable method for integrating with Workday by providing everything needed to deploy a fully functioning integration service, including integration templates, services, security, fields, maps, attributes, launch parameters, event messages, event errors, and reporting. These connectors can be utilized to stay synchronized with third-party systems by utilizing the full file (all records are synchronized) or change detection (only the delta from last synchronization are synchronized) patterns. This type of connectors are intended to address the common scenarios that 80% of custom integrations require, ultimately reducing integration costs and speeding time to value for scenarios that require integration with Workday. Worker Sync Connector provides a means to export worker data changes from Workday as you hire, promote, transfer, terminate, or update worker data. Organization Connector provides a means to synchronize Workday with a non-workday application being used as the system of record for organization data. Location Connector provides a means to synchronize location data address, phone, time zone and currency with external systems. and Active Directory servers. Job Posting Connector detects new and changed job postings to produce a configurable output file in XML format. Job Requisitions Connector detects new and changed job requisitions to produces a configurable output file in XML format. Worker Organization Assignment Connector provides a streamlined chart of accounts update from an external finance system into Workday to update a worker s organization type, including company, cost center, region, business unit, and custom organizations. It complements the Organization Connector by assigning workers to organizations that have been defined or updated by the Organization Connector. Competency Model Connector provides flexible access and extraction of essential competency model information competencies, identifiers, descriptions, and relevant behaviors from your tenant. Combining this information with information from the Worker Sync Core Connector and Job Profile and Job Family Core Connector forms the basis of what is needed to populate a variety of HCM systems. Worker Time Block Connector eliminates the tedious, manual process of getting time data into Workday Time Tracking by supporting the ability to import high volumes of time data from third-party party systems.
