Minors are Offered in: Sciences Biology Chemistry Computing Science Mathematics and Statistics Physics Environment, Economy, and Sustainable Development Cross disciplinary minor combining courses from Arts, Science, Natural Resource Sciences, and Economics Arts A Minor is available for any Arts discipline for which sufficient upper level courses are available. Management Courses offered from: Business Statistics Economics Mathematics Archeology and Geology Cross disciplinary minor combining courses from: Anthropology Geology

What is a Double Major? Requires two disciplines from Science A Double Major normally requires 10 semesters to complete Example of a Double Major Program: Biology and Chemistry (two Sciences)

Opportunities in Science to Earn Two Degrees within 5 Years Requires two disciplines, one from Science and the other from either Arts or Business A Double Degree normally requires 10 semesters to complete Examples of a Double Degree Program: Biology and Psychology Biology and English Biology and Business (one science/one arts) (one science/one arts) (one science/management)

What is an Honours Program? Available in Biology, Chemical Biology, Computing, and Mathematics 3.0 GPA required in all Biology, Chemical Biology, and Mathematics Allows students to carry out their own independent research project under faculty supervision Preparation towards applying into a Graduate Program 120-126 credits that include courses towards the Major program and all Honours seminars. Go to this link to review how to prepare for Honours Options Application is made to the Honours option at the end of year 3. Go to this link to review the Masters Degree option at TRU

Check all course descriptions and pre-requisites. It is important to check the online Course Schedule to determine availability for each semester.

Seeking a Professional Degree. The courses required to make admission into a professional program (ie: Medicine) can be done along with the core requirements for a TRU Bachelor of Science Degree. Students must consult the institution of transfer to research their professional degree prior to deciding on classes. Check for transfer of credits within British Columbia by using the BC Online Transfer Guide Click here to go to BC Transfer Guide
