Welcome to your new-and-improved online and mobile banking Dear RCB Customer, At Reading Cooperative Bank, your voice matters. You ve asked for improvements to our online and mobile banking, and we ve been listening. We re working hard to improve the way you bank, every day. On August 11th you ll be introduced to a new-and-improved online and mobile banking experience that s been completely redesigned to be easier to understand and easier to use. Whether you re on a computer, phone or tablet, you ll have just one login and access to the same tools and information across every device. You ll be able to pay bills on the go with mobile bill pay. You ll also be able to see pending transactions, get instant alerts anywhere and enjoy online budgeting with Direct Connect to Quicken and QuickBooksTM, plus much more! Even though this is a good change, we know change is hard. So we re here to help you throughout the process. After the upgrade, our team will be available by phone during extended hours to assist you with any questions or needs. Please be sure to reference the upgrade timeline and checklist on Page 11 to determine possible upgrade preparations that may apply to you. We re sure this change is going to give you more convenience and flexibility in how you bank with RCB. Online Banking Prior to the Upgrade Your Username and Password In our effort to deliver the best online banking experience, here are a few upgrade preparations that may apply to you: To keep things simple, your current username will remain the same, and your initial password will be the last 4 digits of your SSN and your 5-digit zip code (please be sure to enter all 9 digits). After you log in for the first time, you ll be prompted to create a new password. Online Banking will not be available from August 10th until midafternoon on August 11th. Services will resume once implementation testing has been completed we ll send an email to let you know when it s ready! If you re an Online Bill Pay and/or ebills user, there are steps needed for upgrade preparation prior to August 7th. Please see complete details on Page 6. There s an upgrade timeline and checklist on Page 11 for quick reference. If you have any questions, please contact us prior to the dates noted above at banking@readingcoop.com or 781-670-1500. During the Upgrade Your new password must be 8-22 characters in length and include at least 3 of the following: an uppercase letter (A...Z), a lowercase letter (a...z), a number (0...9) and/or a special character (~!@#$%^&*()_+-={} :;?,./). If your current password meets these requirements, you may re-use it. NOTE TO BUSINESS USERS: Based on your current online banking profile, your initial password after the upgrade may be the last 4 digits of the business tax ID number and the 5-digit zip code of the business. If this applies to you, we will send you an email on August 7th to let you know. If you do not hear from us, use the last four digits of your SSN and your 5-digit zip code. On Monday, August 10th, we will disable Online Banking while we upgrade to the new system. Service will resume midafternoon on Tuesday, August 11th, once all testing has been completed. Please plan to do your online banking prior to August 10th. During the upgrade, you ll still have access to your accounts through RCB Telephone Banking (888-469-4441), Debit/ATM cards and at all RCB branches. After the Upgrade You ll be able to log in to the new Online Banking system midafternoon on August 11th we ll email to let you know when it s ready! 5
Online Bill Pay and ebills If you currently use RCB s Bill Pay service, we think you ll be very happy with the changes that are part of our new system. If you haven t used RCB s Bill Pay, August 11th is the perfect time to enroll it s still free for all customers! Prior to the Upgrade ebills will be disabled on August 7th and will not carry over once the upgrade is complete. You will need to re-establish any ebills you had prior to the upgrade. Please schedule Online Bill Payments on or before August 6th. You will not be able to access or schedule a new payment between August 7th and August 11th. All Bill Payments will be paid as scheduled during the upgrade. If you want to retain your Bill Payment history, you will need to download it on or before August 6th because payment history will not carry over to our new system. Note: Payees and recurring/ automatic bill payments will carry over after the upgrade! If you would like to download your Bill Payment History: 1. Go to Bill Payment 2. Select Bill History 3. Enter Date Range (Use Specific Date Range for up to 24 months of history) 4. Select Download Payments 5. An Account Confirmation Box will appear. Select Download Payments 6. Save the file csv.csv from billpay1.pscufs.com to your computer. During the Upgrade On Friday, August 7th, until midafternoon on Tuesday, August 11th, Online Bill Pay and ebills will be disabled. You won t be able to pay or schedule bills during this time; however, any previously scheduled and/or recurring bills will be paid as expected. 6
Online Bill Pay and ebills (continued) After the Upgrade In the afternoon of August 11th, you can log in to the new Online Bill Pay system, as well as download Mobile RCB, our new Mobile Application. Payees and scheduled automatic payments won t be impacted by the upgrade. By midafternoon on August 11th, you ll be able to: The enhanced Bill Pay and ebills features include: Re-establish ebills you had prior to the upgrade P ayments Review Page: Review and edit your payments on one page Confirm that your Bill Pay schedule is accurate Verify that your payee information is correct (including name, address and account number) Verify that bill payments are being funded by the correct account (if you have multiple checking accounts) Download Mobile RCB, the new Mobile Application please see Page 10 for more details on the new Mobile App. Q uick Links: Make a payment easily from any page D eliver by Scheduling: Schedule recurring payments and choose the date you want your payment to arrive F unds Withdrawn on Payment Send-On Date: On the day a payment is scheduled to be sent, the funds will be automatically withdrawn from your account. Please note: After the upgrade is complete, payments that were scheduled for August 10-13th can be seen on the Transaction Activity Page for the account that funded the payment. Payments scheduled to be made on or after August 14th can be seen under Processed Bill Payments. 7
Online Transfers* If you utilize Recurring/Scheduled Transfers in Online Banking, they will carry over to the new system. After the Upgrade You will be able to log in to your new Online Banking system midafternoon on Tuesday, August 11th. At that point, you will need to verify that your previously established recurring/ scheduled transfers are correct. The enhanced features include: Enhanced Transfers: Make transfers to other RCB customer accounts and transfers to your other bank/credit union (non-rcb) accounts. T ransfer to and from your accounts at other financial institutions up to $3,000.00 per day and up to $9,000.00 per month. T he ability to transfer to other customer accounts at RCB. This is a family-friendly feature that makes it easy to transfer money to children, especially if they are away at college. Deliver by Scheduling: Schedule recurring transfers and choose the date you want your transfers to arrive. * Federal Regulation D establishes a limit on transfers from a Savings or Money Market Deposit Account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, telephone, or Online transfer or by check, draft, or similar order are limited to no more than six per monthly statement cycle. Depending on the type of account you transfer from, you may be subject to a fee, as published in our Personal Fee Disclosure (or Business Fee Schedule), for exceeding the established limit. Additionally, if the limits are exceeded repeatedly, we may restrict future transfer activity, convert your account to a transaction account, or close your account. If we take any of these actions, we will notify you that we have done so. 8
New Feature: Manage My Money Manage My Money is a great way to organize your finances and improve your financial health. Manage your budget, control spending and set savings goals. Features include: Budgeting Sometimes it s hard to know where all your money goes! Now you can easily set goals and monitor your spending and adjust as needed to be sure you re staying on track. Savings Goals Setting up savings goals will help you achieve your financial objectives. You can see exactly how far you ve come and how much farther you have to go. This is an ideal way to prepare for buying new appliances or furniture, saving for a family vacation or paying for college. Categories Keeping track of exactly where your money is going is easier than ever. Assign your income and expenses to a category to see how much you spend each month on things like groceries, gas, electricity, dining out, etc. 9
Mobile Banking With Mobile RCB, RCB s new-and-improved Mobile Banking App, for Apple and Android, you ll have one login for your computer, phone and tablet. Plus, you ll be able to access all of the same great features of online banking from any device, including Bill Pay! If you re currently using the RCB Mobile Banking App or plan to after the upgrade is complete here s what you need to know: Prior to the Upgrade The current RCB Mobile Banking App will be disabled on Monday morning, August 10th. If you are currently using the RCB Mobile Banking App, please delete it on or before August 10th. During the Upgrade On Monday, August 10th, we will disable Mobile Banking while we upgrade to the new system. Service will resume midafternoon on Tuesday, August 11th, once all testing has been completed. During the upgrade, you ll still have access to your accounts through RCB Telephone Banking (888-469-4441), Debit/ATM cards and at all RCB branches. After the Upgrade Midafternoon on Tuesday, August 11th, once the upgrade is complete, Mobile RCB, the new Mobile Banking App, will be ready to download and use. If you re a current user of RCB s Online Banking System: You will need to log in to RCB s new Online Banking system through a web browser and create your new password before you can use Mobile RCB see Page 5 for details. Once that step is complete simply download Mobile RCB, and log in using the same username and password you use for Online Banking. If you re a current user of the RCB Mobile Banking App and don t currently use RCB Online Banking: You will need to register for Online Banking to use Mobile RCB simply visit readingcoop.com and enroll in Online Banking right from the home page. Once you ve enrolled, download Mobile RCB, and log in using the same username and password you created for Online Banking. 10
Upgrade Timeline and Checklist Starting Friday, August 7th, 2015, we will begin upgrading Online Banking. Please review the important dates below. Service will resume midafternoon on Tuesday, August 11th. This checklist will assist you with the upgrade process by providing important dates and allowing you to track necessary changes that may require your attention prior to the upgrade. Customer Action Required on or before: Online Banking Service Customer Action Instructions August 6, 2015 Bill Pay Users Only Bill Payment History change Bill Payment history will not transfer to the new system. If you want to retain your Bill Payment history, you can download transactions prior to the upgrade. Instructions are provided below. August 7, 2015 Bill Pay Users Only Bill payment functionality will be disabled until August 11th. All Bill Payments will be paid as scheduled during the upgrade. August 7, 2015 Bill Pay/eBill Users Only ebill Service will be disabled ebills will be disabled on August 7th and will not carry over once the upgrade is complete. You will need to re-establish ebills after the upgrade is complete. August 10-11, 2015 Online and mobile banking disabled No access You will not be able to access Online Banking or Mobile Banking while we complete our upgrades. August 10-11, 2015 Mobile Deposit Mobile Deposit service will be unavailable Mobile Deposit will not be available during the upgrade from August 10th to midafternoon August 11th. August 10, 2015 Mobile Application Users Only Mobile Application will be disabled Our current Mobile Application will be disabled permanently. Users will need to download Mobile RCB, the new Mobile Application, on or after August 11th. Midafternoon August 11, 2015 Online Banking Login Your current username will remain the same. Completed You will not be able to access Bill Pay between August 7th and August 11th. Bill Pay service will resume once the upgrade is complete. You can log in to your new Online Banking system midafternoon on August 11th.
