GENERAL INFORMATION 2.3 PRIORITY SPACE SELECTION Selection of exhibit space for the Coverings 2016 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, April 18 21, 2016, will take place in assigned meeting hours in the Sales Office in Orlando. More details will be sent to you prior to Coverings 2015. SECURITY Uniformed Security Guards and Badge Checkers will be stationed throughout the exhibit halls on a 24-hour basis and will patrol the floor during non-show hours. Every reasonable effort is made to prevent losses. The final responsibility, however, lies with the exhibitor. It is advised items such as laptops, small monitors, or anything which is easily concealed, NOT be left unsecured in a booth overnight. Private guards can be hired from the official security contractor; see the order form located in the Additional Services section of this manual. SHOWCASE POLICY / NO SUITCASING NTP and Coverings are working together to eliminate suitcasing at Coverings 2015. Suitcasing is the act of soliciting business in the aisles during the exhibitor or in other public spaces, including another company s booth or a hotel lobby. Persons caught suitcasing will be asked to leave the show immediately. This is a violation of the show rules and regulations. Please report any violations you may observe to Show Management. Show Management recognizes that suitcasing may also take the form of commercial activity conducted from a hotel guest room or hospitality suite; a restaurant, club, or any other public place of assembly. For the purposes of this policy, suitcasing violations may occur at venues other than the exhibition floor and at other events. Show Management must be informed of any hospitality suites, and express consent must be received prior to the event. INSURANCE General Liability Insurance: Coverings 2015 is providing commercial general liability coverage for each exhibiting company. This coverage is limited to $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in aggregate. This is a $125.00 value provided to each company. General Liability insurance protects you, the exhibitor, against sums that the insured becomes legally obligated to pay as damages because of Bodily Injury or Property Damage to a Third Party. Worker s Compensation Insurance: To purchase worker's compensation insurance, an exhibiting company must have an office in the United States that has a United States federal tax identification number. Without this U.S. federal tax identification number workers compensation insurance cannot be purchased. If you have a U.S. federal tax identification number and would like to purchase worker's compensation insurance, please contact Kendra Reilly Monahan at +1.212.697.1010 ext. 49 or kar@buttine.com. When purchasing the insurance, it is done on an annual basis and not on a short term basis.
