Focus on: Cameroon Gas Strategies has been working in Cameroon for over five years Gas Strategies has been providing advice and support to IOCs, independents and the state owned oil and gas company, SNH, as Cameroon develops its gas business. We have been working alongside SNH and its partners as it seeks to establish the Cameroon LNG export facility. Ghana Gas Strategies support has been a key enabler for VRA as it progresses its FSRU project in Ghana Kweku Awotwi Chief Executive Volta River Authority, Ghana Developing an FSRU project in Ghana Gas Strategies is currently working with the state power company of Ghana, the Volta River Authority (VRA), to develop an LNG FRSU import project; a project which is driven by Ghana s need for a secure source of gas supply and to reduce its current reliance on high-cost oil products for power generation. Gas Strategies is acting as VRA s commercial and project management advisor and is supporting its senior management team to shape and deliver the project. Considerations have included the use of an FSRU as a temporary or permanent solution; the commercial interaction between LNG imports and existing pipeline gas imports, indigenous gas production and hydro power; project structuring and financing; stakeholder alignment and facility siting.
