SMARTER STORAGE IN ACTION North East London and the City (NELC) NHS Trust implemented a private cloud infrastructure based on Cisco and FlexPod Computacenter assisted with the configuration, testing and installation of the new platform, which now supports core services including email, file servers and data warehouses. The entire implementation was completed in two months, with Computacenter overseeing the configuration, testing, installation and network connectivity for the new platform. The private cloud infrastructure has also improved ICT and data availability, which will ultimately help the trust to deliver a higher quality of patient care for a lower cost. Thanks to the private cloud infrastructure, we can now embrace change without being limited by ICT capabilities. This will ultimately enable us to deliver a better quality of care for a lower cost.
