The only way we truly understand the runner and the spectator is not by imposing our own understanding, but instead by knowing their story from the inside out. From that understanding there will come a place of connection. For those who want to take on the challenge of raising their trial game to the next level, there is an option for you. This track is intended for attorneys who have experience trying cases and/or have previously attended a trial practice institute. It is intended to be an advanced course as it supplements necessary trial skills. The goal of the trial is always to engage the listener in the story such that it becomes the listener s story, the juror s story. The focus of this group will be to mindfully discover and effectively present the overall story from the inside out. The story of our client, the story of each witness and the story that will connect and empower the jurors to join our cause, be part of our team, and advocate for our client throughout the trial and in deliberations. This is not designed for those who want to know how to as much as for those who want to know why to, the reason you want to become a great Trial Lawyer. Participants must commit to attend all sessions for four days. CURRICULUM INCLUDES Communicating effectively in the courtroom with the jury, judge, and witnesses.
