System Process for cross country ski Considering the position of the athlete, the system is composed of a 2D antenna: it creates a double magnetical field in both horizontal and vertical planes to guarantee the detection of the DAG in any of these two positions. The DAG is on the athlete s back. 2 dimensions: the DAG is read vertically and horizontally, the participant can pass bent or upright. How to proceed : - program the DAGs with the Bib number and race, thanks to SetDAG software, - stick your DAGs to the Bibs, - set up and test your system, ½ hour maximum, - WinDAG software will edit text files to process your results with the software of your choice. You can check this video to see how the system works: http://www.dag-system.fr/article-243-enduro-series-2007-en.html Long range reader: read the DAGs, no internal memory, need to be plug to a computer Black Box: contains from one to four readers, an internal memory, a intelligence which synchronized the readers. Can work without a computer. Auto Setting Box: Tune automatically the antenna Black box Interface box The back up system: the badgers: The badgeur is a wireless paddle connected in HF to the Black box. They have a 1 foot detection range. 10/15

That allow you to have a Back up solution includein your main Chip timing system. You will even be closer to 100 % detection because you will even catch the ones who didn t put their Bib on the chest!!!!!! Minimum configuration: - 1 PC - 2 Badgers (HF linked) - 1 black box - 1 antenna - 1 auto tuning box Ranking software to print results, send it to internet HF antenna to link the badgers Antenna Auto tuning box 11/15

3- The DAG Bib We offer 2 sorts of DAG Bibs: - the re-usable solution - the disposable solution The DAGBib is a Sticker that you paste at the back of the bib. On the DAGBib reusable is a DAGBib paste on a waterproof plastic support. In that way it is easier to collect at the end. You can note that both are rewritable and we supply you the tools to do it. a) With the disposable solution: 1) Paste your DAGs to the bib numbers, 2) Program your DAGs, 3) Give the DAG bibs to your participant and do not worry about any collection after the race. Note: Minimum size of the bib number = 21cm x 18 cm ORDER YOUR DAG BIBs IN ADVANCE AND GET BETTER PRICES DAGs 1 Month advance 2 month advance 3 months advance 4 months advance 1000 1,25 1,25-5000 1,25 1,213-10000 1,25 1,213 1,113-25000 1,25 1,20 1,088 1,013 50000-1,188 1,063 0,975 100000 - - 1,038 0,938 200000 - - 0,90 0,863 500000 - - 0,988 0,863 12/15

b) With the re-usable solution: 1) Stick plastic envelop at the back of the Bib number 2) Place the DAGs in it, 3) Program your DAGs, 4) Recover the DAGs after the events. You buy the chip and pay no more detection fee, all you charge per runner is your net margin. Price: Same prices as the disposable DAGBib + 0.25 4- Advantages of the DAG System technology: Main points to remember: Key features: - Passive System, no battery is required on the DAG, non corrosive product - Can be used in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold...) - The number of each participant is programmed inside the chip memory, it helps to keep this Information safe and simplify the system work because we just have to read one data. - The system is very fast, it means that it can detect more than 120 people in one second. - System is very accurate (100% detection rate guaranteed at finish) 99% at start points. - System is very sharp, just like the bib is placed on the chest accuracy of time = 1/100e, respecting IAAF rules. Advantages of this solution : a) Precision and reliability, b) Easy and quick to set up ( the system weigh less than 40 pounds) c) Simplified logistic: 1) 2 in 1 (the chip is on the Bib) 13/15

2) No deposit system (disposable) or low deposit (re-usable) 3) No chip collection (disposable) or simplified collection (re-usable) d) 100% detection thanks to the badgers, e) Multisport (nothing on the ground) f) Each participant can keep the race number as a souvenir of his race. You can decide to recover or not the DAG bib after the race, g) Save time, money and people (volunteers). h) Recover the DAG on the chest is much more comfortable for the athlete than a chip on the shoe. i) Do not recover the DAG after the race: DAG bib can be offer to the participants: here is one opportunity to add a sponsor on the DAG itself. Disadvantages: If you find any, please let us know. As an illustration, here is our innovation scheme since the creation of the brand 14/15
