International Residency Global Emphasis An understanding of globalization and the international marketplace is essential in today s business world. A 10-day International Residency in conjunction with a dedicated course in International Business enhances our student s exposure to global business. Admissions Criteria The UCF Executive MBA program s objective is to admit well-rounded individuals who can bring unique insight to the classroom learning environment and team experience. The Admissions Committee evaluates candidates on many factors including managerial experience, professional character, leadership qualities, degree of motivation, and demonstrated scholastic ability. These factors are assessed through work experience, academic records, letters of recommendation, a professional goals essay, and a personal interview. Requirements Minimum of five years (10 years preferred) of full-time, progressive, and relevant work experience. Bachelor s degree or its equivalent from an accredited university or institution with a GPA 3.0 or above..
2 3 Application Process Request Official Transcripts If you are not a UCF graduate, official transcripts from each college or university attended must be sent directly to the University of Central Florida, College of Graduate Studies, P.O. Box 160112, Orlando, FL 32816. Application Form and Fee The application form must be completed on-line at www.graduate.ucf.edu. Goal Statement Write a goal statement of no more than 1,000 words addressing the following: What are your short and long term career objectives, and explain how the UCF EMBA will assist you in obtaining these goals? Recommendations Provide three email addresses of recommenders in your application from professional sources, or provide three hard-copy letters of recommendation.
