Bulletin 1 - Nordic Championship 2006: Invitation On behalf of the Royal Danish Aeroclub, and Sønderborg Modelflyveklub, hereby invite the Nordic and Baltic countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia), to the Nordic Championship F3B 2006. The competition will be held during the weekend 18-20. August 2006, at Sønderborg Modelflyveklub s Airfield in Sønderborg. Date The competition will be held during the weekend Friday 18th. - Sunday 20th. Of august 2006. Place Sønderborg Modelflyveklub's airfield, in Sønderborg, southern Jutland. The flying field is appr. 120 x 120 meters (Green area at photo) with cuttet "wild" grass areas around, that we can use. (red areas) Blue area is for camping.
Teams Each country are entitled to enter with two -2- teams, consisting of four -4- pilots, preferably 3 seniors and 1 junior. A total of 8 pilots. If a team do not have any junior, the fourth man can be a senior. In that case the three pilots that forms the senior team, must be pointed out in front of the competition. The teams will be ranked according to the "three pilots teams", although the "working-groups" will be with four pilots. Juniors will be ranked individually, although they fly in the same groups as the seniors. If wanted, the juniors from one country might choose to fly together in one team. In any case the teams rule will be handled in a flexible way, so do not hesitate to contact the organisers with any "individual needs". Rules All competitors must possess a valid FAI Sporting License. The FAI class F3B rules will be used, the Sporting Code 2006 edition, effective from January 1st 2006 will be used. Jury A jury, consisting of three -3- persons, will be elected at the TM-meeting, Friday 18th. 21:00. Languages The languages used will be English and Danish. Meals & refreshments Breakfast and Lunch will be served Saturday and Sunday, and Dinner will be served Saturday evening. All these meals are included in the Entry fee for TM and pilots. Booking of these meals for helpers, at the entry form. There will be organised sales of refreshing drinks on the site.
Frequencies The following frequencies are allowed in Denmark: 35.000-35.220 MHz (60-82) recommended 40.665, 40,675, 40.685, 40.695 MHz (50-53) Please note that, according to the rules, each competitor shall be able to operate two different frequencies, at least 20 khz apart. Prize giving, departure Lodging a) Camping at the field. Water, toilets and power supply will be provided for tents and caravans, at the flying field. It is possible to have shower in our club locals nearby (800m). (limited hot water!!)
