1 About us

About us INET Solutions and Technologies Limited is a pan European company specialized in the development of new applications and advanced communication solutions. Our innovative VoiceXML browser and applications technology enables the creation of interactive voice and video services (IVVR).

2 What is VoiceXML?

Definition VoiceXML is a language for creating voice-user interfaces, particularly for the telephone. It uses speech recognition (ASR) and touchtone (DTMF keypad) for input, and pre-recorded audio and text-tospeech synthesis (TTS) for output. It is based on the Worldwide Web Consortium's (W3C's) Extensible Markup Language (XML), and leverages the web paradigm for phone application development and deployment. By having a common language, application developers, platform vendors, and tool providers all can benefit from code portability and reuse.

What is VoiceXML? With VoiceXML, speech application development is greatly simplified by using familiar web infrastructure, including tools and Web servers. Instead of using a PC with a Web browser, any telephone can access VoiceXML applications via a VXI* (as a "voice browser"). This model separates the application logic from dialog management and media handling, like in a web XML service. VoIP / E1 Phone VoiceXML browser VoiceXML Web Server

Why using VoiceXML? Whereas HTML is commonly used for creating graphical Web applications, VoiceXML can be used for voiceenabled Web applications. Web enabled convergence Application maintenance XML easier code sharing Open standards coding Cost reduction <?xml version="1.0"?> <vxml version="2.0" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001 /vxml"> <form> <block> <prompt> Hello world! </prompt> </block> </form> </vxml>

Video Portals with IP/3G calling Voice and Video Portals use the last telephony video calling technology IP/3G to manage new mobile user experiences. Instead of using only voice you make a video call; you get interactive menus with pictures, real time video contents access and 3GPP file recording.
