Special Education Teacher Openings for the Current School Year Position(s): Openings for elementary and secondary teachers for Special Education positions in the areas of: Learning Disabilities, Emotional/Behavioral Disturbance, Mental Retardation, Autism, Interrelated, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Moderate/Severe Disabilities, Adaptive Special Education, Functional Special Education, Hearing Impaired, Visually Impaired/Blind and Gifted. The positions are for teachers to teach special education students in all grades level configurations. Teaching positions are for the 2015-2016 school year. Contracts are for a 9 - month contract with 191 days. Requirements: Applicants must have or be eligible for Kansas State certification/licensure, or would be interested in becoming certified/licensed to teach special education students in the State of Kansas on a waiver. School Nurse Description: School Nurse position for the 2015-2016 school year. The position is typically for a 9.5 - month contract with 191 days, starting upon hire to the last day of the current academic school year. This position is for approximately 16-22 hours/week working with a young student. Schedule is daily, approximate schedule from 12:00PM - 4:00PM. Qualifications: Must be a licensed practical nurse; patience and ability to work with children; knowledge and ability to use office machines; regular or special or adaptive classroom equipment; word processing ability.
