1.0 INTRODUCTION TO DAHLSON INDUSTRIES LTD. Dahlson Industries Ltd is a Calgary based designer and manufacturer of custom steel projects. The company designs and manufactures a variety of oilfield equipment including: Drilling rigs and components Underbalanced drilling systems Compression and rotating equipment modules ASME pressure piping systems Custom oilfield projects Custom steel structures Our customers benefit from the experience that each employee contributes to each project. ~AHLSON INDUSTRIESLTO HEALTH & SAFETY MANUAL 2.0 HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT Dahlson Industries Ltd is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees and our customers, protecting the environment and preserving the assets and property of Dahlson Industries Ltd. Guidelines from the Manufacturer's Health & Safety Association, as well as the Petroleum Safety Council, Industry Recognized Practices (IRP 16), have been used to develop this manual. At Dahlson Industries Ltd our most valuable resource are the people who work for us. Injuries can be prevented. To achieve this objective, Dahlson Industries Ltd., will make all reasonable efforts to comply with government regulations pertaining to Health, Safety and Environmental issues. An effective Health and Safety program will be carried out throughout the organization. All employees, contractors and management of Dahlson Industries Ltd will follow the program. This program is designed to encourage all employees to promote the safety of their fellow employees and customers. To accomplish our Health and Safety goals, all members of management are responsible and accountable for implementing this policy and to ensure it is followed. The Health and Safety program will assist management and employees in controlling hazards and risks which will minimize employee injuries, damage to customer property and damage or destruction of Dahlson Industries Ltd property. We are all responsible for the development and maintenance of our safety program by: Complying with all regulatory requirements. Communicating all safety hazards to employees, contractors and visitors. Providing training and equipment to employees. Dahlson Industries Ltd is sincerely interested in our employee's safety. The policy of Dahlson Industries Ltd is to provide safe equipment, adequate tools and training and the necessary protective equipment. It is the employee's responsibility to follow the rules of safety as established for their protection and the protection of others, and to use the protective devices which Dahlson Industries Ltd provides.
