Curriculum Vitae Micah Amd Department of Psychology National University of Ireland Maynooth Maynooth, Co. Kildare Ireland Phone: +353(831)276113 Email: micah.amd.eab@hotmail.com My primary research focus is the enhancement of self-esteem through systematically diminishing rumination. I have previously demonstrated how emotional properties in arbitrary events can be derived as a consequence of how these events are related to one another, even in the absence of any direct conditioning histories. These findings have granted crucial insight regarding how maladaptive processes function in individuals suffering from depression. Adapting a non-linear dynamics perspective, my research strives towards the development of an automated procedure for detecting, and eventually remedying, aversive verbal patterns through a combination of relational responding and neurofeedback.
