Introduction to ActivInspire 1.6 This course introduces the main features of ActivInspire and will guide participants through the basic skills required to create simple, interactive flipcharts. INSPIRE to Learn Developed by UCST in the United Kingdom, INSPIRE to Learn is a flexible, self-paced program that prepares K-12 teachers with the basic software skills to adequately integrate the variety of curriculum disciplines that ActivInspire offers into the classroom. INSPIRE to Learn is an online professional development course specifically designed for Promethean ActivInspire to assist teachers in learning how to utilize the software and develop a more engaging, interactive learning experience. includes: INSPIRE to LEARN contains over 130 curriculum flipcharts featuring over 200 videos in robust online training content featuring both technical and pedagogical skills for using ActivInspire in the classroom. ActivInspire Training the Essentials Training the Essentials for ActivInspire is designed to prepare teachers to design and deliver ActivInspire training within their own school district. The course includes discussions of Best Practices of Professional Development and working with adult learners. Training the Essentials is offered in both 3 or 4 day formats Interactive hands-on practice and interaction in redelivery methods Discussion of Best Practices of Professional Development Create and implement a Professional Development plan (4 day session only) NOTE: ActivInspire software is NOT taught in this class, as it is expected that participants already have excellent working knowledge of the software.
