Optional Breathing Tube Cover Slip Breathing Tube Cover (S-3102) onto open end of the Installation Tool (p/n 6000-61508-01) Slide Breathing Tube into cover and pull through Attach to Blower and Hood as normal 13

Battery Charging LiPolymer Battery Pack Plug the battery charger to the battery cradle Connect the battery charger to an electrical outlet Battery Charging Cradle Slide the battery in place so contacts are touching Charge the battery for approximately 5 hours Charger Note: as with any Li Ion or Li Polymer battery, take caution not to allow extraneous metal to touch both contacts at the same time. 15
Checking the airflow Place the flow meter in the blower s hood connector. Keep the flow meter vertical. Flow Meter The position of the upper (flat surface) black cone in the flow meter should be above the indication line. If any part of the upper (flat surface) of the black cone is below the line on the flow meter, check for: Blower malfunction Improperly installed, clogged or damaged cartridge(s) Low battery charge or battery malfunction Improperly seated filter gasket(s) Indication line close up 16
Connect the Breathing Tube The threaded ends of the Breathing Tube are the same on both sides Screw the end of the breathing tube into the blower unit until it is hand tight. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN 17
Connect the Breathing Tube to the Hood Screw the opposite end of the breathing tube into the Clear Hood until it is hand tight. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN 18
Donning and Securing the Clear Hood Turn on the blower and don the blower and the hood Tuck in the inner bib (one) Attach clips to Tyveks or cloth garment NOTE: keep the coverall loose or go up one size for best attachment 19
Cleaning Decontamination Solution Lysol Brand I.C. Quaternary Disinfectant Cleaner Lysol Brand All Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner Clorox Clean-Up Cleaner with Bleach Clidox -S (Chlorine Dioxide) PDI Sani-Cloth Plus (germicidal disposable cloth) Maximum Concentration Not to exceed ½ ounce per 1 gallon of water Not to exceed 8.5 ounces per 1 gallon of water May be used full strength 1:18:1 as a wipe down 1 part base, 18 parts water, 1 part activator Use cloth to thoroughly wet surface and let air dry. Cleaning (cont) Solution Application and Limitations The decontamination solutions noted above may be applied via cloth, paper towels, or spraying methods. Never submerge or immerse any Sentinel XL PAPR blower, filter, hose, or hood components in liquid, as this may permanently damage the electronics, batteries, or affect hood or hose function. Wipe components dry with a soft cloth following decontamination and rinsing with clean water, unless noted to air dry. MKT-0003 Rev. C 21
