Micropulse transducers are available with a ¾ x 16-UNF (optional M18 x 1.5) mounting thread. Sealing is accomplished at the flange mounting surface using the supplied O-ring. If the transducer is to be mounted into magnetizable material, non-ferrous spacers should be used, as shown in the diagram above.

Setting Interrogation Mode and Recirculation Count The procedure below can be used to adjust the number of recirculations applied to the pulse-width-modulated gate output pulse. The number of recirculations is factory set, but can be changed in the field if necessary. In addition, it is possible to set the interrogation mode (INTERNAL or EXTERNAL). Step 1: Using a 3 mm hex wrench, loosen and remove the two electronics housing screws. Step 2: Carefully pull the electronics head no more than 2 away from the flange of the pressure tube. Using the chart at right, set the DIPswitches for the desired interrogation mode and recirculation count. Apply a small amount of thread-locking compound to the two hex screws and tighten to maximum 2 ft.-lbs. using a 3 mm hex wrench.
