THE NEXT GENERATION MYLAPS SYSTEM MYLAPS introduces the world s first timing and data system that offers the possibility to measure and publish more race data than just lap times: the X2 system. The X2 system is the next generation MYLAPS platform and offers extensive insights in race activity, track status and system performance. X2 is the perfect system to collect and publish data to and from racers, timekeepers and spectators through the innovative 2-way communication technology and X2 cloud. The Software Development Kit which is included with the X2 system offers extensive opportunities to develop customized software and applications based on official race and track data. STATE OF THE ART HARDWARE MEETS TOP-NOTCH SOFTWARE The X2 system has an all-new and robust design and includes newly developed portable decoders and servers. The system is built on a new and highly advanced infrastructure and can be used for multiple (motorized) sports. The system runs on top-notch software, based on the well-known Orbits software: Orbits 5. Orbits 5 is dedicated for X2 and available in three editions: Basic, Standard and Advanced. TRACK TEMPERATURE AND LOOP STATUS With track sensors (optional) installed at the track, it is possible to monitor track temperature and loop status. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT A Software Development Kit is available with the X2 system, which enables developers to build custom applications. To unlock the new benefits and make full use of the X2 system s capabilities, MYLAPS introduces the X2 Racer pack. This includes an X2 transponder and X2 key for racers. Current (non-x2 transponders) MYLAPS transponders are compatible with the X2 system for timekeeping purposes, but will not benefit from the all-new X2 features.
X2 SERVER The X2 Server is the beating heart of the system. All components are connected to and controlled from this core device. X2 RACER PACKAGE Every racer has an X2 transponder and X2 key installed, which sends its signal to the detection loop. X2 CLOUD X2 DECODER An X2 decoder collects data from the detection loops which capture the signals that are sent via the X2 transponder. The X2 Cloud collects and back-ups race data from X2 systems connected to the Internet. The X2 Clouds also offers access to the Software Development Kit. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT The software development kit allows developers to build customized software and applications.
