Small Business Fundraising Pack
What you can do for us Your business can get involved in a variety of ways, from having a collecting can in a prominent position, to choosing us as your Charity of the Year/Month/Week, to holding a Casual Friday, or simply encouraging your staff to join in our fundraising activities. The support of local businesses is crucial to Julia s House. We receive only five per cent of our annual funding from the government, which was been frozen for the next three years. Julia s House is one of the worst funded hospices in the UK as respite care is not seen as a funding priority. There are huge benefits to you as an organisation in supporting Julia s House. It demonstrates to your staff and customers your commitment to corporate social responsibility, staff motivation and engagement, morale and team building, as well as making a big difference to the lives of those in need in your immediate community.
