MISCELLANEOUS CARGO HANDLING ACTIVITIES: (i) 100% DESTUFFED & RESFTUUFED OF CARGO: In certain occasion s cargo is required to be dealt in a container as in which 100% of total cargo in a container is destuffed and restuffed /transshipped either in the same container or different container or at a specified location. 2000 2500 (ii) LOADING OF PART CARGO: In certain occasions, only part cargo is required to be dealt either in a container or warehouse/open area. In all these cases normally there will be one loading of cargo into truck from warehouse/open area /container or vice versa. Per MT 100 (iii) LOADING OF LCL CARGO: Seal cutting, unloading of cargo from CBTs into the LCL/Air Cargo area of warehouse, if necessary by shifting and shuffling of other cargos; arranging for its customs examination, if necessary by unpacking / opening and re-packing, Weighment of cargo for customs examination purpose, loading such cargo into the Importer road vehicle (either manual or mechanical). TERMINAL SERVICE CHARGES: In order to provide efficient services at the ICD, it is necessary to ensure that the containers being used for export or import cargo do not stagnate at the ICD. Adequate Free Time has been provided for obtaining Customs clearance and completing commercial formalities for various categories of containers. After expiry of the Fee Time, the exporter/importer/his agent shall be liable to pay Terminal Service Charges as described below: The rates for 20 containers are given below. The rates for 40 containers will be double theses rates. The day of unloading/arrival/stuffing of container will be included while calculating Free Time. Service tax @ 14% and 0.5% SB Cess (Swachh Bharat)+0.5% KK Cess(Krishi Kalyan) applicable on Terminal Service Charges for import loaded containers, export loaded containers and empty containers. 13. WHARFAGE CHARGES (i) FOR EXPORT CARGO: Free time of TEN (10) days, excluding the day of arrival of cargo in the warehouse, will be given for obtaining stuffing permission from ICD-Customs after Customs examination and for issue of Job Order for stuffing. Thereafter, Wharfage @ Rs. 50/- per ton per day or part thereof, subject to maximum of Rs. 450/- per 20 and Rs. 900/- per 40 per day or part thereof, will be charged. For export cargo the Wharfage will be calculated, billed and collected for the entire cargo of a particular Shipping Bill from the date of arrival of the first portion of the cargo till the last portion of cargo from that particular Shipping Bill is stuffed for export. SERVICE TAX @ 14% AND 0.5% CESS SWACHH BHARAT will be applicable on Wharf age charges for export cargo except for agriculture produce. (ii) FOR AGRO-BASED EXPORT CARGO: To promote export of agro-based products, free time for part cargo from the day of the first arrival of cargo shall be TEN working days (excluding day of first unloading). Thereafter, Wharfage @ Rs. 20/- per ton per day or part thereof, subject to a maximum of Rs. 200/- per TEU per day or part thereof, will be charged. For agro-based export cargo the Wharfage will be calculated, billed and collected for the entire cargo of a particular Shipping Bill form the date of arrival of the first portion of the cargo till the last portion of cargo from that particular Shipping Bill is stuffed for export. (iii) FOR IMPORT CARGO: Free time of two working days, excluding the day of de-stuffing of imports in ICD, shall be given for obtaining Out of Charge from ICD-Customs (after Customs examination and payment of duty) and for removal of cargo. Thereafter, Wharfage @ Rs. 40/- per ton or part thereof, subject to a maximum of Rs. 550/- per 20 container and Rs. 1100/- per 40 container per day or part thereof, will be charged. For import cargo, Wharfage will be calculated, billed and collected for the entire cargo of a particular Bill of Entry form the date of de-stuffing of first cargo till the last portion of cargo from that particular Bill of Entry is moved from the ICD. 12.360%SERVICE TAX @ 14% AND 0.5% CESS SWACHH BHARAT will be applicable on Wharfage charges for export cargo except for agriculture produce. 14 CHARGES FOR BACK TO TOWN CARGO: Loading of back to town cargo will be charged @ 100/- per ton or part thereof In addition to the Wharf-age an additional Service Charges of Rs. 20/- to will be charged if the Back-to-Town cargo is not cleared within four working days, excluding the date of stuffing of container. 15 HAZARDOUS AND OVER DIMENSIONAL CARGO: Please contact the commercial staff at the ICD directly for information on rates and procedures for the movement of hazardous and over dimensional cargo prior to its shipments.
