Given the procedural text (directions) to a Thanksgiving craft, students will interpret the directions to accurately create a craft without teacher assistance. TSWBAT: interpret information in maps and timelines detailing early American history and the first Thanksgiving. Given timelines and maps detailing early American history, in particular the time period around the first Thanksgiving, students will answer corresponding questions with at least 80% accuracy.
