1.0. Our Logo The Exclusion Zone This refers to a distance surrounding each side of the CIArb Logo. A minimum clear space requirement has been established to ensure the prominence and clarity of the logo. It is essential the CIArb Logo remains free of all graphics, taglines, photography and typography to ensure the logo is prominent and strong. This measurement has been created using the height of the Text and Strapline from the top of the C to the bottom of the e. The exclusion zone will increase or reduce depending on the size of the logo. Refer to 1.0.1 for the logo incremental logo sizes. 1.1. Our Logo Size Logo Size This refers to the minimum and maximum size of our logo. The minimum size of the logo is 25mm. That means without clearance from the Marketing Department, the logo should never appear smaller than this. This will keep the logo clear and keep its impact strong. Logo Increments This refers to the size the logo increases. The logo must increase in 5mm increments. So you can have a 25mm logo, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm and so on until you reach a 100mm logo. Then the logo goes up in 10mm increments. There is no maximum size for the logo. 25mm 45mm 100mm 2
1.2. Our Logo Colours Logo Colours This refers to the colour the logo is set up in. The logo appears in 4 colour process on all material. If you require a mono version of the logo, then please contact the marketing department. 1.3. Our Logo Usage Full Colour on white Background This version of the logo should be used on all literature. Full Colour on Coloured Background If the logo has to appear on a background colour, please ensure that the logo is used on a complimentary background colour. 4
Below show instances of how the logo should and should not be used on a coloured background. 7 The logo should NOT be used on complicated or gaudy backgrounds. A shadow can be added to the logo to add more definition on certain colours. 3 The logo should be used on complimentary backgrounds that enhance and not cheapen the logo. 5
1.4. Our Mono Logo The CIArb logo should be used on one colour literature in the formats below. Mono on white Background This logo is a single colour logo (mono) and should be used on all black and white literature. Mono on Black Background If the logo has to appear on a background, please ensure that the logo is used on a solid black background. 6
1.5. Our Logo Formats and Usage The CIArb logo should only be used as previously specified. It should not be stretched, compressed, distorted or re-drawn in any way. Use only the versions supplied in electronic format by the marketing department. The logo should not be outlined or the orientation altered in any way. Contact the marketing department for a copy of these files.
