The ideals in one tractor series 4 5 Exclusively Fendt The undisputed highlight of the new 700 Vario is the Fendt VisioPlus cab it redefines visibility and spaciousness. In combination with the Fendt Variotronic, this means maximum comfort, optimal visibility as well as perfect functionality and controls. The load relief control for the front linkage also provides greater convenience. The field pressure, e.g. of a mower, can be easily adjusted in the terminal while driving. The comfort front linkage transfers the weight of ground-hugging implements to the front axle. This is a particular advantage when operating a front mower or a snow plough, since implement guidance can be quickly adjusted to uneven surfaces. The Fendt VisioPlus cab is a true visibility and space wonder. The windscreen curves up into the roof and provides an excellent view, even upwards. The 700 Vario now moves into a higher power segment with a maximum output of 145 to 240 hp. In conjunction with the continuously variable Vario transmission, the drive train delivers convincing dynamics and maximum efficiency.

With the scr technology, the 700 Vario complies with emissions standard Euro stage 3b (= tier iv interim) and consumes up to ten percent less fuel* (in comparison to 820 Vario). With an average fuel consumption of 20 l per hour, that means that 20,000 litres of diesel are saved after 10,000 operating hours. another advantage is that exhaust after-treatment takes place after combustion and therefore has no effect on it. the engine is optimally tuned and achieves a very high degree of power efficiency. Fendt automated efficiency functions make saving easy Different tests performed over the years have shown that continuously variable speed adjustment such as the Vario transmission offers brings huge savings potential in time and money. in the 700 Vario, the continuously variable transmission ensures high drive train efficiency. With the tractor Management system tms, which Fendt now offers as standard for the 700 Vario, the tractor always runs at an economical optimum. Operators only need to enter the desired speed and the activated tms takes control over the engine and transmission. the tractor is always driven at the lowest engine speed possible which means automatic efficiency. Automatically drive at the limit the automatic maximum output control enables load-dependent adjustment of the travel speed dependent on engine speed. the ideal load limit, which varies for different operations, is regulated automatically. The Tractor Management System TMS controls the engine speed and transmission ratio to ensure as low a fuel consumption as possible. With the automatic maximum output control, the engine load is adapted to the particular operation. The driving mode can be individually and freely selected, depending on the area of application. Operators can choose the driving pedal mode or, alternatively, control speed via the joystick, with up to four acceleration rates. The compact cooler unit is very easy to access and can be easily cleaned thanks to the large spaces between the radiators and the flat floor. The smart heat exchanger design lowers hydraulic and transmission oil temperatures, which has a positive effect on the efficiency and lifetime of the tractor. The engine compartment is very easy to access for inspection and maintenance, even when the front loader mounting parts are attached. The one-piece bonnet with two separate side panels can be opened without tools. Vehicle body 20 21 Arrive safely at your destination Six points for your comfort With the 700 Vario you can perform transport work at 50 km/h, at a fuel-saving 1700 rpm. the chassis design provides the best ride comfort as well as optimum ergonomics. six features ensure an exceptional driving sensation: the self-levelling front axle suspension the Fendt Reaction steering system the shock load stabilising the cab suspension the seat suspension and the automatic steering axle lock. Safe driving, even with high payloads a robust cast half frame supports the weight on the Fendt 700 Vario and enables a permissible gross weight of up to 13.5 tons (depends on country). the permissible axle loads were also increased compared to the previous model. this gives you ample payload reserves for heavy-duty implements. High transport loads must be slowed down quickly in hazardous situations. the practically maintenance-free four-wheel braking system on the 700 Vario ensures this is done effectively. the self-levelling front axle suspension ensures safe driving and is a big plus in terms of ride comfort. the suspension can be locked with the push of a button, so that front-mounted implements can be guided precisely. Fendt Reaction steering system the Fendt Reaction steering system guarantees better straight-ahead driving. after negotiating a curve, a hydrostat quickly brings the steering wheel back into the starting position and provides the driver with steering feedback. this makes sensitive steering much easier. Automatic steering axle lock the optional automatic steering axle lock automatically unlocks the steering axle at a predefined speed on trailers with self-steering axles. On straight stretches, the rigid self-steering axle ensures stable handling. Operators do not need to lock the self-steering axle manually outside of the preselected speed range and when reversing. The combination of front axle suspension, cab suspension and seat suspension, which provide a driving sensation on par with passenger cars, was adopted from the highhorsepower tractors. The work lights on the 700 Vario can be individually adjusted for up to 360 degrees of illumination. Xenon or LED lights are available as an option. The corner lights illuminate the entire wheel arch in the front. This gives you an excellent view to the track at night. The +/ 50 mm suspension travel, absorbs uneven surfaces very well. The swing angle of 8 ensures stability while driving. A front axle steering angle of 52 guarantees maximum manoeuvrability. The lighting is easily set and adjusted thanks to its straightforward layout. With the smart one-button system, all previously set work lights can be switched on easily and quickly with just one touch of a button in the membrane keypad. The arrangement of the lights in the 700 Vario is unique the work lights are cross-eyed. This prevents all shadows and reflections so operators profit from an optimally illuminated field of vision. Get back home safely: The integrated coming home light permits operators to climb down from the tractor safely, even in the dark. The headlights continue to shine a while longer after the tractor is switched off.

The interior has impressive high-quality workmanship. As is typical for Fendt, the controls are logically placed and well thought-out and the Vario is easy to control. The workplace becomes a comfort zone time to climb in, for passenger as well.

Open or closed? the front windscreen on the VisioPlus cab is a true plus in visibility. the curved top of the window has tripled the upward view angle. the downward sightlines through the front windscreen and the waisted bonnet have been optimised for an ideal view to the wheel arches. the front window of the Fendt 700 Vario is offered in two variants: the first is the familiar opening window with doors on the right and left. if you prefer an absolutely unobstructed view, we recommend the second standard version with a continuous front windscreen and a door on the left side.
