It does not depend upon how, when, where or why the skills and knowledge were obtained. RPL assessment can result in credit for a unit within a course, or entry to a course. It is based on evidence provided by the applicant. You may enrol for RPL at any time, but it is preferable to do so before the course or unit starts.
