The Redweb creative process is driven by our senior designers in close collaboration with our frontend developers to ensure the visual themes that are developed are not only as engaging and dynamic as they can be, but also enhance the journeys and priorities defined in the functional prototype. Clients are encouraged to contribute as much as they can to the early phases of the creative discussions when high-level themes and styles are being evaluated. This input is an intrinsic part of a successful collaboration as it is the joint ownership and understanding of the methodologies employed in the creation of a winning design treatment. It is the partnership of the client and project teams in every step of our proven process that gets the best from the challenges presented in the brief. This removes the need for the big reveal at the end of the design phase of a project. When developing the look and feel it is the evidence and understanding that come from internal, client and end-user workshops, which are tied together by the creative skills of our designers that deliver the results our clients come to expect. Responsive Design Redweb follow a design once, publish everywhere methodology known as responsive design. Redweb use this approach to meet client s needs in the face of the wide choice of ways their audiences can now access web content. Responsive design responds to the user s behaviour and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. 2 switches from their laptop to a tablet, netbook or smartphone, the website automatically adapts to accommodate, based on resolution, image size and scripting abilities. In other words, the website automatically responds to the user s preferences. This has the added benefit of eliminating the need for a different design and development phase for each platform or technology whether new or existing and encompasses everything from smartphones and tablets, through to kiosks and large widescreen desktop displays, without ignoring the context and methods of interaction. With a combination of video, animation, sound, imagery and enhanced interaction, multimedia assets can fully engage and educate users. As well as fully understanding the medium, our designers always ensure appropriate use and compliance with the end-users capacity, taking into account platforms, browser specifications, access to plug-ins and connectivity. Design concepts Initial design concepts for the launch site will be produced with early review points included within the project plan to ensure all members of the project team are providing feedback into the early design process.
