Whilst Talking Function Operation Whilst Talking Function Operation DESCRIPTION SYSCOM AV Series Systems have many innovations in Key Phone operations. Please contact your SYSCOM representative for a suitable Program. E.G.: 1. Auto-Hold by paging: Press PAGE Key whilst talking, system will automatically hold the line. 2. Auto-Transfer by Answer-paging: Paging to auto-hold the line; After answering paging, the call will be auto-transferred to the answering-page Ext. 3. Auto Pick-Up. 4. Using Calculator whilst talking. Normal Call Hold The other side can hear music-on-hold. Every Ext. Phone can retrieve this on-hold CO/Ext. Line. Whilst Talking Call Hold (The other side can hear music-on-hold) Note: At that moment, the on-hold CO./Ext. line DSS Key s LED begins to flash. Exclusive Call Hold Refer to system program in Zone 242; the other side can hear music-on-hold, Only the local phone can retrieve this on-hold CO/Ext. Line. Whilst Talking Exclusive Hold (The other side can hear music-on-hold) Note: When on Exclusive Hold, the on-hold CO/Ext. line s DSS Key LED flashes slowly.

Auto-Hold by Paging This function is especially for AV Series Systems. Whilst Talking Auto-Hold the on talk Line Call Transfer Transfer the current call to other Ext. Phone Ringing Answer the Call Hans free Speaker Internal Call Auto Answer Only the key phones with hands free speaker have this function. at/mic LED On (Red Light) Internal Call Auto Answer Note: Press at/mic Key to cancel the Internal Call Auto Answer. Call Pick Up: Total 6 Modes Group Call Pick-Up: Pickup a ringing extension within your work group. (External/Internal Calls) General Call Pick-Up: Pickup any extension in the system. (External/Internal Calls) Directed Group Pick-Up: Pickup a ringing extension within the directed group. Ringing Door Phone Answering Door-Lock Release Door-lock Release while on Door Phone call On Door Phone call Door-Lock Release System directly releases Door-lock (#61 means release the 1st Door Lock, #62 means release the 2nd Door Lock.) On Door Phone Call Door-Lock Release

Operation while Dialing Busy Extension Operation while dialing busy extension DESCRIPTION Many functions of AV Series products should be coordinated with System Program setting, so please contact your SYSCOM representative for a suitable Program. 3.5.1 Internal Automatic Recall While calling an extension and hearing busy Tone, you may use the function Internal Automatic Recall. Leave-message: coordinated with system program in Zone 500, 501. Call an Ext. Note: 1. The MSG LED of the Extension with message (Receiver) will flash; at that time, LCD phones will display the message information. 2. After finishing leaving message, system will Automatically Recall the Caller s Ext. and remind the Receiver s Ext. as soon as the receiver s Ext. has released the line. 3. Leaving-message has different grades (refer to system program in Zone 504-ST-IP=3). It only can takes effect from the superior level to the subordinate level or between equivalent levels. Receiver s Ext. Busy/No Answer Answering the leave-message Finished Leaving Message Receiver s Ext. MSG LED Flash Call back the Caller s Ext. 3.5.2 Trunk Queuing While accessing a trunk and hearing busy tone, you may use the function of Trunk Queuing. System will call the extension which has queued the trunk as soon as the queued trunk becomes idle; at that time, the extension can use this trunk line by Off-Hook. Hunt CO Hearing Busy Tone Finished Trunk Queuing

3.5.3 Barge-In Refer to system program in Zone 504-ST-01. Call an Ext./Hunt CO Hearing Busy Tone OPER Barge In Note: 1. Barge-In has different levels. The superior level can leave message for the subordinate level, as well as the equivalent levels can leave messages for each other. 2. It gives a warning tone when barge-in. 3. System provides Tri-Parties conference function after barge-in. 3.5.4 Monitoring Refer to system program in Zone 504-ST-02. Call an Ext./Hunt CO Hearing Busy Tone OPER Monitoring Note: 1. Monitoring has different levels. The superior level can monitor the subordinate level, but equivalent levels cannot monitor each other. 2. It gives no signal when monitoring. 3.5.5 Last Number Redialing Auto hunting CO and redialing Note: When redialing the last number, system auto hunts CO Line. 3.5.6 Automatic Redialing Dialing the telephone No. repeatedly Called Party Busy/no answer Automatic Redialing Note: 1. Refer to system program in Zone 120, 121,123 for setting the auto-dialing times, dialing waiting time and auto-dialing alternate time. 2. When operating this function, the save LED flashes quickly.

Paging Function Paging DESCRIPTION 1. AV Series Systems provide one-touch function for Paging. 2. AV Series Systems provide 5 types of traditional paging modes. 3. AV Series Systems also provide one type of special paging function: CO Auto Paging. 4. Paging function starts with an Indicator Tone lasting 1sec. All Internal & External Zone Paging All Internal & External Zone Paging Note: Page Key can be set as All Internal & External Zone Paging. Refer to System Program in Zone 500. All Internal Zone Paging All Internal Zone Paging Note: Page Key can be set as All Internal Zone Paging. Refer to System Program in Zone 500.
