NATO TIGER MEET 2017 Landivisiau, France & International Airshow (tba) June, 2017 PROVISIONAL ITINERARY & GENERAL INFORMATION Although the dates of the 2017 NATO Tiger Meet have been announced: Monday, 5 th - Friday, 16 th June - we await the date(s) of the Spotters Day(s) and a possible international airshow. Until then we are not able to give exact dates of our tour, except that we expect it to be for 6 days and will most probably start on a Wednesday and finish on a Monday. The French have announced they will host the 2017 NATO Tiger Meet (NTM) in June at Landivisiau Marine airbase in western Brittany - this super base is currently the home of 3 Escadrilles of Rafale M s (11F, 12F and 17F) and Falcon 10MERs of 57S. 11F will be the host squadron pictured here is one of their beautiful Rafale s at the 2016 NTM! Our 6-day tour includes any special Photographers/ Enthusiasts Day (PED) and the proposed international airshow. Also, time at the end of the runway getting superb landing shots! (all photos by Chris Bosworth, NTM 2016) As Landivisiau is not an easy place to reach and is a long way from the usual Channel port of Calais, and local airports are not an option for groups, we will travel by coach and ferry like our previous NTM tour to Landivisiau in 2008. Our deluxe, air-conditioned coach will depart from London s Victoria Coach Station for Portsmouth, with a second pick-up option at Hatton Cross Bus & Underground Station on the southeast perimeter of Heathrow Airport. You have the option of joining/leaving the coach at Victoria Coach Station, Hatton Cross or the Brittany Ferries Terminal in Portsmouth docks. Please annotate your booking form accordingly. We sail from Portsmouth to St Malo on Brittany Ferries overnight sailing. On the twin-share basis the tour price includes a berth in an inside cabin with 2 persons occupying a 2-berth with en-suite facilities: however, if would like the cabin to yourself (but twin-share at the hotel) there will be a supplement of 35.00. Those paying the full single room supplement will have a 2-berth cabin to themselves. Please make sure you annotate your booking form accordingly. The ship has several restaurants and bars, and evening entertainment. We return from Cherbourg on a shorter, day-time sailing. We stay 4-nights at the L Albatros Hotel on the outskirts of the pretty town of Morlaix, conveniently located only 18 miles from the airbase in Landivisiau; continental breakfast and evening meal is included in the tour price. The NATO Tiger Meet is very popular with enthusiasts and photographers alike and when you see the fabulous special schemes in which many of the aircraft are painted, you ll see why! NOTE: When the exact number of Spotters Days is confirmed, and the announcement of an airshow (or not), the length of the tour and the price will be amended as necessary. In addition to the Spotters Day(s) we will still spend one day at the end of the runway. Tour 227705 NTM 2017 Provisional Itinerary Issue 1 Page 1 of 5
