For windows98 User : If you can NOT install automatically by the enclosed CD, please follow the instruction below to install MANUALLY. 1. Insert the enclosed software CD into CD-ROM drive. 2. Double Click [ My Computer ] from desktop. 3. Select CD-ROM drive. 4. Click the Right Button of Mouse and then select [ Open ]. 5. Select the [ W98DRIVER ] directory and then double click the [ AFMP3DRV98.EXE] to install driver. For windows2000 User : If your Operating system is Windows 2000, please refer to the website at http:// v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/zhtw/default.asp to install " Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 ". Attentions: Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides the latest updates to the Windows 2000 family of operating systems. Pocki-MP3 functions Description Power on 5 1. Press the POWER button. 2. In 2 seconds, the "Hi" "INTxxx" "ExT00" appears on the LCD.( fig.a) 3. The current track and the playback time indicator will be displayed on LCD. ( fig.b) 4. If there is no MP3 files on the memory, it will display "NO TRK". HI INTxxx ext00 1 4:05 Internal memory Exteral memory fig.a fig.b Power off 1. Press POWER button again to turn off the MP3 player.
Playing MP3 Music 1. After pressing the POWER button, please press " Play" button to play MP3 music. 2. The current track and the playback time indicator will be displayed on LCD and the MP3 indicator appears on the LCD. 3. By pressing "Play " button again to pause MP3 music. 4. By pressing "Play " button again to release the pause function. Stop MP3 Music By pressing Power button again, the MP3 Music will stop. BWD and FWD 1. By pressing the FWD or BWD button, you could play back to the previous track or next track. 2. When the song is playing, it will skip to the prior section & the next section if you press the FWD or BWD button continuously. If you let go the keys, the song will go on. 6
EQ( Equalizer) Mode There are five modes :Normal ( default), Classic, Rock, Jazz, Pop. 7 1.Press the EQ button, LCD will first display Classic icon. 2. You can switch the different mode by pressing EQ button to experience Classic, Rock, Jazz or Pop mode. Voice Recording Function 1. Press the POWER button. 2. Press Mode button, The DVR icon appears on the LCD. 3. Press Mode button again, the REC icon appears on the LCD. 4.Press the button FWD /BWD you can select to save the voice recording files in SD/MMC RAM or built-in Flash RAM. 5. Press the Play button to start voice recording. 6. Press the Power button again to stop voice recording. How to listen 1. By pressing Play button to listen the voice recording.
How to delete voice recording files 1. Press the Mode button, the DVR icon appears on the LCD. 2. Select the DEL mode by pressing Mode button twice. 3. Press the Play button to delete the files. Repeat A-B 1. Press Mode button, the A-> icon appears on the LCD. 2. It will set the start of the repeat part A. 3. Press Mode button again, the A->B icon appears on the LCD. 4. It will set the end of the repeat part B. 5. Now, it will repeat the selected part ( A-B) of the track continuously. 6. Press Mode button, it will stop A-B function. 8
Repeat Function Repeat 1: Press the Hold button, the Repeat 1 icon appears on the LCD. You can listen to current MP3 Music repeatedly. 9 Repeat ALL : Press the Hold button twice, the Repeat ALL icon appears on the LCD. You can listen to all MP3 music repeatedly. Press the Hold button again, it will stop Repeat function. Volume control Function By pressing the VOL / VOL button, the volume steps will increase or decrease. The volume ranges from 0 to 40. USB Pockidrive Function How to use USB Pockidrive? 1. Attach MP3 player to USB port 2. The USB C icon appears on the LCD( fig.c).
3. Doulbe click on My Computer. You should see two additional drive letter with a removable icon. (for windows 2000 user,please make sure to install the Windows Service Pack3 ; For Windows 98 user, please make sure to install the enclosed driver). 4. Now you can transmit data to the USB Pockidrive. 5. When data transmitting, the "DATA T" icon appears on the LCD( fig.d). 6. When data transmitting finished, the "USB C" icon appears on the LCD 7. The POCKI-MP3 do harm when you take out the POCKI-MP3 while the transmitting have not completed. Lock function 1. Press the Hold button for 3 seconds, the key icon appears on the LCD( fig.e). 11 2. Press the Hold button again to release the lock function. 1 4:05 fig.e Battery indicator Function Please change the battery when indicator appears on the LCD( fig.f). 1 4:05 DISPLAY BATT LOW fig.f Auto Power Off POCKI-MP3 will power off in 60 seconds if the Play button is not pressed.
SD/MMC card Function Support Plug and Play 1. Insert the SD/MMC card to the Card reader,you can upload or download files now. 2. Press FWD/BWD button, the icon appears on the LCD. Operation Notes 1. Please do not drop the POCKI-MP3 and keep it in areas free from extreme temperature changes, moisture and dirty environment. 2. The POCKI-MP3 do harm when you take out the POCKI-MP3 while the transmitting have not completed. 3. Please remove the battery to avoid electrical leakage when you do not use POCKI-MP3. 4. After turning on the MP3 player, there is no signal on LCD. Please replace or check battery placement. Please check if the battery is inserted. Battery life may vary with different manufacturer. 5. If the key buttons could not work, please check if the " Hold" button is on. Please press it again to release the lock function. 6. While playing MP3 music, there is no sound could be heard. Please check if the volume control turn it to level 0 and please turn it up. Please check if the MP3 music file is in the memory. If the MP3 files can not be played by POCKI-MP3 player, please check if the SD RAM is formatted with FAT file system. The POCKI-MP3 player can only recognize FAT file system. 12
7. For windows 98 user, Please make sure to install the enclosed driver before using Pocki-MP3. 8. For windows 2000 user, when plugging USB POCKI-MP3 to PC, you should see two additional drives on PC. If you only see one additional drive on your PC. Please make sure to install Windows 2000 SP3, which allows you to install all the latest Windows 2000 updates with a single installation. you can visit at http:// v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/zhtw/default.asp to update Windows 2000 with a single installation.
