Second European Blue Sky Conference 1 Global Transformations Consequences and Alternatives International conference in association with OECD and the UNESCO MOST Program 29-31 October, 2015, Budapest - Castle District Institute of Musicology, Bartók Hall, 7 Táncsics Mihály street The conference tackles the global and local consequences of the large-scale transformation of societies and economies today. Academics, thinkers and experts from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds will explore the complex nature of social, political and economic processes, formulating alternatives and imagining new future scenarios. The conference themes include possibilities for new governance, new management, new leadership, the future of cities and universities, sustainability in times of crisis, the rebirth of democracy and the metamorphosis of the state and the role and place of Europe in a global economy.
