Type of Allocation of Quota Places: The quota place is allocated to the NOC for the Groups as well as the individual gymnasts ranked 1 st to 15 th at the 2015 World Championships AND The quota place is allocated to the athlete by name for the individual gymnasts ranked 1 st to 6 th at the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event, for the Continental places, the Tripartite Commission Invitation place and the individual Host Country place. C. ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY All athletes must comply with the provisions of the Olympic Charter currently in force and only those athletes who have complied with the Olympic Charter may participate in the Olympic Games. This includes Rule 41 of the Olympic Charter (Nationality of Competitors). Page 1/7

Age Requirements: All athletes participating in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games must be born on or before 31 December 2000. Additional IF Requirements: To be eligible to participate in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, all athletes must: - have reached the minimum technical standard established by FIG. Full information regarding the minimum technical standards is available on the FIG official website (www.fig-gymnastics.com). - hold a valid FIG License until the end of the 2016 Olympic Games Rhythmic Gymnastics competitions. In addition, only NOCs which had a group entered at the 2015 World Championships and/or at the 2016 Olympic Games Test Events will be eligible to earn a Group quota place. For the Host Country, a Group must have participated in the 2014 World Championships and, if qualified, in the 2015 World Championships and in the Olympic Games Test Events in order to obtain its quota place. All individual athletes, including those receiving Host Country and Tripartite Commission Invitation places, must have participated at the 2015 World Championships and/or at the 2016 Olympic Games Test Events. D. QUALIFICATION PATHWAY Glossary - CI: Individual All-Around Qualification Competition - CII: Individual All-Around Final Competition QUALIFICATION PLACES The qualification events are listed in hierarchical order of qualification. Group Qualification There will be a total of fourteen (14) Groups, including the Host Country. Number of Quota Places 50 gymnasts (10 Groups) 2015 World Championships Qualification Events Participation in the 2015 World Championships will be limited to NOCs ranked 1 st to 24 th as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2014 World Championships. The minimum continental representation of quota places allocated from the 2015 World Championships is three (3) continents. 10 groups will qualify through the 2015 World Championships. Allocation criteria listed in order of priority: 8 quota places: a) The NOCs ranked 1 st to 8 th, as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) will qualify a group quota place (5 Quota Place Allocated to: NOC Page 2/7

athletes). Remaining 2 quota places: b) Should the minimum Continental representation not be achieved with criteria (a), the best ranked eligible Group from the continent(s) which is(are) not appropriately represented will obtain a quota place for their NOC, as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI). NOC c) Should the minimum continental representation be achieved with criteria (a) and (b), the next best ranked eligible Group(s) (regardless of the continent) as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) will obtain a Group quota place (5 athletes) for their NOC. 15 gymnasts (3 Groups) 2016 Olympic Games Test Event Participation in the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event will be limited: The best ranked NOC from the 2015 World Championships (gold medalist). As this NOC will already be qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the results of this Group will not be considered for the purpose of qualification. The six (6) next best ranked eligible NOCs as per the Group ranking Results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships, after the 10 NOCs already qualified. The Host Country Group. Should the Host Country Group be included within the above mentioned places, the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Group ranking Results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships will be invited to participate. 5 gymnasts (1 Group) The NOC ranked 1 st to 3 rd as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) will qualify a group quota place (5 athletes); this excludes the World Champion Group of the General Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships and the Host Country Group, if already qualified as per the Group ranking of the General Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships. Should the Host Country be already qualified, the last quota place will be assigned to the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Group ranking results for the General Competition (CI) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event. The tie breaking rules set out in the FIG Technical Regulations will be applied. Page 3/7

Individual Qualification There will be a total of 26 Individual gymnasts including the Host Country place and the Tripartite Commission Invitation place. A gymnast can only obtain one (1) quota place for her NOC. Number of Quota Places 15 gymnasts 2015 World Championships Unlimited NOC participation Qualification Event Individual gymnasts ranked 1 st 15 th, as per the Individual ranking results of CII (All-Around results), with a maximum two (2) per NOC, will qualify one (1) quota place each for their NOC. Quota Place Allocated to: NOC 6 gymnasts 2016 Olympic Games Test Event Participation in the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event will be limited to: Gymnasts from the NOCs ranked 1 st to 3 rd as per the Individual ranking results of CII (All-Around Final) of the 2015 World Championships. As these NOCs will already be qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the results of these gymnasts will not be considered for the purpose of qualification.) The best ranked eligible NOCs not already qualified as per the results of the Individual ranking of the Qualification Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships (22 quota places) The Host Country gymnast. Should the Host Country be included within the above mentioned places, the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships will be invited to participate. Individual gymnasts ranked 1 st to 6 th, as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) with maximum one (1) per NOC will directly qualify. Athlete 3 gymnasts Continental representation The minimum Continental representation (including the Host Country place and the Tripartite Commission Invitation place) should be at least one (1) quota place for Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. If the minimum Continental representation is not guaranteed after the 2015 World Championships and the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event (including the Host Country place and the Tripartite Commission Invitation place), the best ranked individual gymnasts from the continent(s) not appropriately represented as per the Individual ranking Athlete Page 4/7

results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the 2015 World Championships will directly qualify. If the three (3) quota places are not sufficient to ensure the minimum Continental representation, the number of quota places allocated through the 2016 Olympic Games Test Events will be decreased accordingly. Any unused Continental places will be allocated to the best ranked individual gymnasts as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event. The tie breaking rules set out in the FIG Technical Regulations will be applied. HOST COUNTRY PLACES The Host Country is guaranteed a maximum of six (6) quota places, as follows: - Maximum one (1) group quota place of six (5) gymnasts in the Group Competition if not qualified through other criteria. - Maximum one (1) individual quota place in the Individual All-Around Competition if not qualified through other criteria. For Groups: For the Host Country, a Group must have participated in the 2014 World Championships and, if qualified, in the 2015 World Championships and the 2016 Olympic Games Test Events in order to obtain its quota place For Individual gymnasts: If the presence of the Host Country is neither guaranteed after the 2015 World Championships nor after the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event, the best ranked eligible gymnast from the Host NOC as per Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) from the 2015 World Championships will obtain the quota place allocated by name. TRIPARTITE COMMISSION INVITATION PLACES One (1) Tripartite Commission Invitation Place allocated by name will be available to one (1) individual gymnast provided she has met the eligibility criteria as described in paragraph C. Athlete Eligibility. On 15 October 2015, the International Olympic Committee will invite all eligible NOCs to submit their requests for Tripartite Commission Invitation Places. The deadline for NOCs to submit their requests is 15 January 2016. The Tripartite Commission will confirm, in writing, the allocation of invitation places to the relevant NOCs after the end of the qualification period for the concerned sport. E. CONFIRMATION PROCESS FOR QUOTA PLACES Following each qualification event, FIG will publish the results on its website at http://www.figgymnastics.com. After the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event FIG will inform the respective NOCs of their allocated quota places. Following receipt of the confirmation from FIG, the NOCs will then have two (2) weeks to confirm if they wish to use these quota places, as detailed in paragraph G. Qualification Timeline. After this deadline, unused quota places will be reallocated as per the procedure defined in paragraph F. Reallocation of Unused Quota Places. F. REALLOCATION OF UNUSED QUOTA PLACES REALLOCATION OF UNUSED QUALIFICATION PLACES For Groups: In case a qualified NOC decides not to use its group quota place for any reason, the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the group quota place. In case a qualified NOC decides not to use a group quota place obtained through Continental representation for any reason, the next best ranked eligible NOC from the same Continent as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships will obtain the quota place. If not applicable, the next best ranked eligible NOC regardless of the Continent as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the quota place. For Individual Gymnasts: In case a qualified NOC decides not to use a quota place for any reason, the athletes of the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the quota place. In case a qualified NOC decides not to use a quota place obtained through Continental representation for any reason, the athlete of the next best ranked eligible NOC of the same Continent as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the 2015 World Championships will obtain the quota place. If not applicable, the athlete of the next best ranked eligible NOC regardless of the Continent as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the quota place. REALLOCATION OF UNUSED HOST COUNTRY PLACES For Groups: In case the Host Country does not to use its Group quota place, the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) of the Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the quota place. Should this decision affect the minimum continental representation, the quota place will be allocated to the next best eligible NOC as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event that ensures the minimum continental representation. If not applicable the quota place will be allocated to the next best eligible NOC as per the Group ranking results of the General Competition (CI) of the 2015 World Championships. For Individual Gymnasts: In case the Host Country does not to use its individual quota place, the athlete from the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the quota place. Should this decision affect the minimum continental requirements the athlete from the next best ranked eligible NOC from the Americas as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All- Around results) of the Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the quota place. If not applicable, the quota place will be allocated to the athlete of the next best ranked eligible NOC from the Americas as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the 2015 World Championships. REALLOCATION OF UNUSED TRIPARTITE COMMISSION INVITATION PLACES If the Tripartite Commission is not able to allocate a Tripartite Commission Invitation Place, the athlete from the next best ranked eligible NOC as per the Individual ranking results of the Qualification Competition (CI / All-Around results) of the 2016 Olympic Games Test Event will obtain the quota place. G.
