IACCT (China) In 2004 the Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers (HKACT) initiated the China Treasury Forum to promote the development of professional corporate treasury best practice in China. This initiative has now developed into the Chinafocused corporate treasury association called the International Association of CFOs and Corporate Treasurers (China), incorporated in Hong Kong in early 2006. MISSION To build treasury best practice and develop the corporate treasury profession in Mainland China and Hong Kong by: Establishing a mechanism for finance professionals to acquire formal corporate treasury qualifications Promoting exchange and sharing among a network of corporate treasurers and CFOs in both Mainland Chinese Enterprises and Foreign Investor Enterprises Supporting financial reforms in China by developing a platform for dialogue between members and financial regulators
IACCT (China) BOARD MEMBERS Allen LEUNG, Treasurer, COFCO Hong Kong Limited Allen has 20 years of experience in corporate treasury and banking treasury. He is now working at PPG Industries International Inc., a US fortune 500 company, overseeing the treasury functions for PPG entities in the region, including financial risk management, cash management, financing, banking relationship and insurance. Allen was formerly the president of the IACCT (China). He is also a member of The Hong Institute of CPAs and The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He holds Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Accounting from York University, Canada and a Master of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University, Australia. Eymon TSANG, CFO, Fortunet e-commerce Group Limited Eymon has over 20 years of working experience in strategic management, corporate finance, investor relations, treasury, accounting and finance. He has been Chief Financial Officer or Finance Director of listed companies in Hong Kong for more than 6 years. Prior to his role as CFO, he held various finance and treasury positions at The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited (stock code: 45) from 1995 to 2008. Eymon holds bachelor s degrees in social sciences and law with honours from the University of Hong Kong and the University of London respectively. He also received master s degrees in surveying and strategic focus with distinction from the University of Reading and Heriot- Watt University respectively. Eymon is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Association of Corporate Treasurers; and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a chartered financial analyst of the CFA Institute, a certified financial risk manager of the Global Association Risk Professionals and a tax adviser of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. Francis HO, Director, Group Treasury, CLP Holdings Limited Francis is responsible for CLP Group Treasury including funding, financial risks management, credit ratings, debt investors and bank relationships and compliance of treasury activities. Prior to the assignment at Group Treasury, Francis was a project financier at CLP Power Asia, specializing in project finance, investment appraisal and financial risks management for CLP s overseas investments in China, Australia, India, and South East Asia. Francis held various management positions in investment banking before he joined CLP. Francis is the Convenor of the Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers and a founding member and the Chairman (Membership) of the International Association of CFOs and Corporate Treasurers (China). Their objectives are to promote the treasury and finance profession in China and Hong Kong.
Keith YUEN, Regional Vice President - Principal International Asia Ltd. CEO - Principal Asset Management Co., Ltd. Principal Financial Group (PFG) Keith is responsible for PFG s China and HK fund management businesses. He is a director and responsible officer at Principal Asset Management Company, and a director at CCB Principal Asset Management Company in Beijing, a joint-venture between PFG and China Construction Bank. Prior to PFG Keith was Deputy Group Treasurer at the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC). Prior to HKJC Keith was Head of Treasury & Investments at Hongkong Land (HKL), a member of the Jardine Matheson group. He was also a member of the JMG pension board. Before HKL Keith was Deputy Group Treasurer at the MTR Corporation Limited and Secretary to the MTR pension board. Prior to corporate treasury Keith was in investment banking engaging in capital markets origination, derivatives structuring and project financing in Asia and North America. Keith is a founding member and vice president of IACCT (China) and a member of the Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers. He received his university education at Colby College, USA on full scholarship. KO Yung Lai Gogo, President, IACCT(China) & Deputy General Manager, Finance Department, YUE XIU Enterprises (Holdings) Ltd Gogo is responsible for overseeing the YUEXIU Group s financial management functions. The Group is one of the largest state-owned enterprises, in terms of assets, in Guangzhou, representing the controlling company of four listed entities in Hong Kong including a local bank and a REIT. Prior to that she was the CFO of the YUEXIU REIT Asset Management, the licensed asset manager of YUEXIU Real Estate Investment Trust. In her 19 years with the YUEXIU Group she had dealt with different businesses including corporate finance, IPOs, securities, very substantial acquisitions, real estate investment trust and corporate restructuring. Prior to that Gogo worked for Arthur Andersen & Co in Hong Kong and Sydney. She graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a qualified fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA), Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI). She is the Chairlady of the CIMA Hong Kong Branch, a Committee Member of the CIMA North Asia Regional Board, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association Finance and Accounting Steering Committee, HKICPA Mainland China Business Interest Group, as well as a Volunteer Financial Advisor of the Hong Kong Volunteers Federation Company Limited. She is the Director and Deputy Secretarial General of the Hong Kong Business Accountants Association (HKBAA) and is the Convenor of the Professional Development Committee of HKBAA. Nikson MA, Chief Financial Officer, Shaw Kwei & Partners Shaw Kwei & Partners is an independent private equity fund manager investing in Greater China and Asia. Nikson is responsible for the overall group finance function, investor relations as well as overseeing the portfolio management. Prior to joining Shaw Kwei & Partners, Nikson held various positions in Emerson Electric Group, a Fortune Global 500 company,
including Group Treasury Director, Regional Treasurer, Finance Director and Business Operations Director with responsibilities across Asia and Greater China. Nikson started his career in Standard Chartered Bank as a corporate banker. Nikson earned his MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and BBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a founding member and Vice President of International Association of CFOs and Corporate Treasurers. He is also a fellow member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountant, a member of Association of Corporate Treasurers in the UK and a member in Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers. Peter WONG, Founding Chairman, IACCT(China) & Director, PwC Consulting At PwC, Peter specialises in providing Corporate Treasury Advisory Services in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Peter is a CPA, a CFA charter-holder and a fellow member of the UK Association of Corporate Treasurers. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a major in Economics and an MBA degree. Peter has been active in promoting corporate treasury best practices in Greater China as Founding Chairman of IACCT China and Convenor of the HK Association of Corporate Treasurers in 2000-2012. He was appointed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (since 2006) as the Founding Board Member of the Treasury Markets Association (TMA) and member of the Working Group (since its inception in 2012) on the development of the Corporate Treasury Centre Policy. Its Bill has now been passed in May 2016. Stephen LEUNG, Treasurer, Hong Kong Airport Authority Stephen has over 20 years of experience in corporate treasury. Before joining the Hong Kong Airport Authority, he was Assistant Director, Treasury, CITIC Pacific, prior to being a consultant in PwC providing advisory services to companies in Hong Kong and PRC on treasury and cash management. Prior to his consultancy career, Stephen has held various senior positions in treasury at various companies, including HK-listed companies and quasi-government organizations. He was a founding Vice President of the International Association of CFOs and Corporate Treasurers (China), and is also a member of the Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers, Hong Kong Institute of CPAs and CPA Australia. Stephen holds a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia. W.K LO Head of Corporate Investment and Investor Relations, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited Since 2008, W.K. is responsible for the investment and investor relations functions of the company Hong Kong and China Gas and the listed subsidiary company Towngas China. Prior to his current role, he has been in charge of the Corporate Treasury of the Company for 10 years. He has a wealth of experience in the utilities business and finance areas. Mr. Lo holds a bachelor degree in business administration and is a qualified accountant. He is a founding member, Director and Vice President of International Association of CFOs and Corporate Treasurers (China) [IACCT] and is a member of the Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers (HKACT).
