Taking Care of Our Guests Give our guests some privacy. Only remove the paper cover to view them. Only remove the roof to feed them. Keep the hotel near room temperature. Our guests don t like it really cold or really hot. Keep the roof of the hotel slightly damp. Feel it with your fingers. If it is dry, spray a little water on it.. Keep the worms fed but don t give them too much. Add a little bit of chopped up grass. Add a little bit of chopped up leaves. Add a little pieces of fruit of vegetables from lunch. If there s food left on the top of the hotel, don t give them any more. Occasionally, stir the hotel bedding up with a stick to keep it fresh. In a few weeks, gently add your hotel contents to the compost bin. Then, our guests can start to work for us!
