Saint of the Week Prayer Requests October 24 Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Pier Giorgio was born into a wealthy family that did not believe in God. He did believe, and practiced his faith by attending Mass daily and in Eucharistic Adoration. Although his parents disapproved and punished him, he gave away his money, and often the shoes and coats he was wearing, to the poor. Pier Giorgio was fun to be with and gathered a large group of friends to hang out with. He is famous for coining the phrase verso l alto! which means to the heights. He meant this not just to summit mountains on his hikes, but to attain heaven. His feast day is July 4. If you have someone in your life who would like to be prayed for, please let Mrs. Morgan know via email dmorgan@allsaintsparish.com or call 253 922-5360. Thank you!
