The Graduate School of Business and Management If you re clear about your business goals and want to prepare for an entry-level position or graduate studies in business this program is for you. Core business courses will challenge you to solve realworld, global problems, and can teach you how to address business problems as part of a team: diagnosing, researching, problem-solving, implementing, evaluating. Lots of interaction with professors and other students can heighten your ability to collaborate and cooperate within groups (a critical skill in business). Psychology courses taught by seasoned faculty from our College of Behavioral Sciences can hone your interpersonal effectiveness further and help you develop a blueprint for a lifetime of personal growth and development.
MBA (Master of Business Administration) This 30-credit, standard path curriculum of 10 courses is offered in a 5-week term format that brings together several critical elements that students and employers are seeking. Shorter Terms Than Traditional Semesters Focused Curriculum/Standard Path: 30 Credit Hours Essential Business Competencies The program is designed to develop managers and leaders who can lead themselves and others to effective business solutions. Building upon the talents of students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, you will have the opportunity to acquire professional competencies identified by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and Argosy University s Graduate School of Business and Management Professional Advisory Board. MSM (Master of Science in Management) Here is a program that can help equip you with the interpersonal communication and leadership skills you need to successfully manage organizations and people. You can learn to frame unstructured business issues, think critically about those issues, make decisions, and develop a plan to implement and evaluate the solution. An ideal program for self-employed business owners and those looking for increased management responsibilities.
MS in Human Resource Management If you are a human resource professional, or are seeking to enter the human resource profession, this program is for you. Students will have the opportunity to address the breadth of human resources needs of an organization: recruitment, selection, and development; compensation and benefits; employee relations; and the long-run strategic human resource needs of an organization. Particular attention is the ethical management of people in our diverse world. MS in Organizational Leadership This program is designed to prepare students in inter-personal skills central to broad management duties across a range of industries and disciplines. The program is designed to develop analytical and critical thinking skills that are actionable in the specific context of the employee/ graduate, with emphasis on the ability to maximize the contribution of the team members, individually and collectively, toward the mission of the organization.
DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) Build upon your core skills. Our doctoral program is designed to help you conduct applied research, expand your understanding of theoretical and applied literature or prepare you for a career of teaching at the university level, if that s your ambition. Choose a concentration from among five major areas of study: accounting, customized professional concentration, international business, management, or marketing. Then customize your learning with a focus on the industries or business practices most relevant to your interests and needs.
EdD in Organizational Leadership While some people may be born visionaries and innovators, we have watched others grow into the role with the right preparation. Are you up for it? This program can challenge you to become an organizational leader able to meet the ever-changing issues of today s and tomorrow s world head-on.
