FIRST EXCHANGE BETWEEN UNESP-Japan - 1982: FCA/TARC-JIRCAS (MAFF) stablished a academic and scientif exchange. SOME BENEFITS AND DATE -Lasted:for14/15 years -35 managers, researchers and professors came in Bra- zil;7 remain for 2 or 3 years; -10 profs went to Tsukuba; -New equipaments from Ja- pan to FCA; -New administrative sect- ions were crieted in UNESP; -Investment: at least US$ 500,000.00 Digital root measurer

UNESP, cer- -THE PAST was excellent for UNESP, tainly, there are more benefits to Brazil than to Japan!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------- - FUTURE DIRECTIONS: - UNESP has three School of Agronomical Science; - These Schools offer Agronomy, Forest, Ani- mal Science and Agroindustrial Manage- ment; - Levels: most of these have, also, Master s and PhD Program.
