What is SASED OneDrive Cloud Storage? Your SASED OneDrive cloud storage solution is a place where you can store, sync, and share your SASED files. As part of SASED s Office 365 account, OneDrive lets you update and share your files from anywhere you are able to access the internet with Internet Explorer. SASED OneDrive allows you 1 TB (1000 GB) of secure cloud storage. Stored remotely with Microsoft s enterprise level servers, your data stored here is safe, redundant, and private. Logging in to Your SASED Email via Internet Explorer First you will need to navigate to your SASED email account via Internet Explorer and login as normal. 3
Navigating to Your OneDrive Cloud Storage Once logged into your email, click the Apps icon as indicated below, then click again on the OneDrive icon. PLEASE NOTE: If this is the first time you ve accessed your OneDrive, you will be presented with the screens below. Click Next at the Welcome screen, and No Thanks at the following screen. 4
Creating a New Document or Folder To create a new file or folder in OneDrive, click new in the upper left corner, as indicated below. You may now create one of the documents as presented in the popup menu. You will be taken to the online version of these programs to create the desired document. You may also to select to create a new folder, naming it as you desire. Copying Files from Your Computer to OneDrive To copy files from your computer to OneDrive, select Upload as indicated below. Doing so will present you with a standard Windows Explorer window to locate and select a file to upload to OneDrive. Your file will now be saved both in its original location as well as in your SASED OneDrive. 5
Sharing Files In OneDrive, you may also share your documents with other SASED staff members as needed. To do so, first click on the directly to the right of the document you wish to share, as shown below. Then, click on SHARE in the popup that appears. You will then be presented with the window to choose with whom you would like to share the document, as seen in the image below. You may enter names or email addresses of any SASED employee or employees in the top box. The box that initially shows Can edit may be changed to Can view if you do not want the chosen staff members to be able to change the shared document. Finally, click Share to complete the desired action. An email will be sent to your chosen recipients. Going forward, any shared documents will show up under the Shared with me menu on the left side of the main OneDrive menu. 6
Initial Backup of SASED Files and Folders When first using OneDrive, you may want to move a large number of files and folders from your local SASED computer. Click the LIBRARY tab as indicated below, and then click Open with Explorer in the bar that appears, also shown below. You may see just the icon for the Open with Explorer button, as seen in the third picture below. OR PLEASE NOTE: If you do not see the bar with the BROWSE FILES LIBRARY options as seen above, you will first need to enable it. To do so, click the gear icon near the top right of your Internet Explorer Window as seen below, followed by Show Ribbon in the menu that appears. 7
You will now be presented with a standard Windows Explorer window as seen below. As with any Explorer window, you may now drag and drop your documents and folders into this window. This will save them to your OneDrive cloud storage. 8
