Confluence: A Center for Spirituality Pilgrimage to Iona, Scotland May 4-14, 2017 Thursday, May 4 Depart from St. Louis, Missouri Check in at the St. Louis airport and depart on the flights to Scotland. Dinner will be served on the transatlantic flight shortly after take-off. Spend the night on board the flight, en route to Scotland. Friday, May 5 Arrive in Glasgow and travel to Oban A light breakfast will be served prior to arrival in Glasgow, Scotland. Claim your luggage and clear through Customs. Board a private motor-coach and travel about three hours to Oban, on the West Coast of Scotland. Arrive at the hotel in Oban in the middle of the day and check in. The remainder of the day will be at leisure in Oban, for independent lunch, visiting the town and enjoying the views over the water to Mull, and to relax and adjust to the time change. Dinner for the group will be served at the hotel this evening. Overnight at the Oban Bay Hotel or similar. Saturday, May 6 Travel from Oban to Iona Breakfast will be served for the group at the hotel, followed by check-out. Board your private motor-coach at the hotel and transfer to the ferry station in Oban. Cruise about 45 minutes to Craignure, a town on the Island of Mull. Meet your motor-coach in Craignure and travel about an hour across picturesque Mull to Fionnphort, where the driver will drop the group off for the ferry for Iona. Walk onto the ferry with your luggage for the short crossing to the Isle of Iona. On arrival in Iona, walk to the hotel (the hotel will transport the luggage). Check in at the St. Columba Hotel, overlooking the strait between Iona and Mull. Sunday, May 6 through Friday, May 12 Isle of Iona Breakfast is included daily at the hotel; Continental Breakfast will be supplemented with three options for cooked meals. Each morning the group will have the use of the Fireside Lounge at the hotel for an optional gathering for meditation and/or input regarding Celtic spirituality and its relationship to Iona. Other activities will be planned, such as a guided tour of the Iona Abbey and a walk to the far end of the island and back. Lunch is on your own each day; there are several options available on the island other than the hotel s dining room. You may also order a packed lunch from the hotel if you would like to walk and picnic on the island. The afternoons will be free to pursue your own interests walking, reading, drawing, writing, painting and so forth. Each evening the group will have the use of one end of the Sun Lounge for an informal gathering before going into the dining room. Dinner is included at the hotel each evening. The group dinner menu will be made up of a choice of three appetizers, three main courses and two desserts, and each person may choose one option from each course. The menu choices change daily and are taken from the hotel s à la carte dinner menu. Overnight at the St. Columba Hotel on Iona. Saturday, May 13 Travel from Iona to Glasgow Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. Walk to the ferry pier on Iona (hotel will transport the luggage). Walk onto the ferry with luggage and travel across to Fionnphort on Mull. Board private motor-coach and retrace your steps across Mull; onto the ferry from Craignure to Oban and continue to Glasgow. Independent lunch en route. On arrival in Glasgow, check in at the hotel at the airport. Dinner for the group will be served at the hotel. Overnight at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport or similar. Sunday, May 14 Fly from Glasgow to St. Louis, Missouri Breakfast is included at the hotel; check out Walk across the road from the hotel to the Glasgow airport terminal and check in for the flights from Glasgow back to St. Louis. A hot lunch and a snack will be served during the transatlantic flight. Arrive in St. Louis later in the day. Estimated Tour Price: based on current tariffs for 2016 and the value of the US Dollar relative to the British Pound as of January 25, 2016, and payment by check or money order. A definite price for the program will be established in late summer/early autumn of 2016, once airfare and hotel rates for 2017 are known. A modest increase is to be expected. If there are 12 persons in the group: $3,600.00 per person OR If there are 15 persons in the group: $3,515.00 per person

The tour prices include all of the following services: Round-trip economy air transportation from St. Louis to Glasgow, Scotland via scheduled airline, including all air taxes, fuel surcharges and other charges currently associated with international air transportation. (Please note that the taxes are subject to change until the air tickets have been purchased). Transportation via chartered, private motor-coach from Glasgow to Oban on May 5; from Oban to Fionnphort on May 6; and from Fionnphort to Glasgow on May 13. Customary gratuity for the bus drivers. Ferry transportation from Oban to Craignure, round-trip Ferry transportation from Fionnphort to Iona, round-trip Hotel Accommodations for 9 nights, based on Double Occupancy (2 persons sharing one room); all rooms will have private bath facilities: One night in Oban at the Oban Bay Hotel or similar. Seven nights on Iona at the St. Columba Hotel. One night in Glasgow at the Holiday Inn Airport or similar Included meals are: Nine (9) Breakfasts, including coffee and tea. Nine (9) three-course dinners. Beverage is not included with dinners; the beverage of your choice may be purchased individually during the meals. (Coffee or tea is included at the St. Columba Hotel at the end of dinner). All taxes and service charges for accommodations and meal arrangements Pre-tour Travel Tips with suggestions for packing, money, tipping, etc. Printed tour itineraries and luggage tags provided for all tour participants Information for optional travel insurance provided for all tour participants Single Room Supplement: If you would prefer to stay on your own in a room at the hotels, there are three different options for a Single Room at the St. Columba Hotel on Iona. Here are the supplemental costs for a single room for all three hotels. The costs vary by your choice of room on Iona. Please note that the number of single rooms on Iona is limited, and that requests for a Single Room are on a first-come, first-served basis. Single Room with Sea View on Iona: $200.00 per person Single Room with Island View on Iona: $55.00 per person Single use of a Double Room with Sea View on Iona: $605.00 per person The tour price does not include: General exclusions to the tour prices include, but are not limited to, expenses for a passport and/or entry visa; all baggage handling; optional travel insurance; beverages, wines or liquors; any meals not specifically included in the tour package; additional food not included as part of a set meal for the group; laundry; telephone calls; any other expense of a personal nature and any item not specifically mentioned under the inclusions above.

PLEASE NOTE 1. You must have a valid passport to travel to Scotland. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of three months beyond the duration of this tour. A special entry visa to the United Kingdom is not required for U.S. passport-holders. 2. Baggage per person is limited to one (1) suitcase not to exceed a maximum weight of 50 lbs. and 62 dimensional inches (add together the measurements of the length, width and height of the bag) and one (1) carry-on bag. Any charges levied by the airline for excess or overweight baggage will be the responsibility of the individual tour participants. 3. Any changes to the travel itinerary may incur additional charges. 4. Any deviation from the air transportation arrangements as scheduled for the group will incur an additional charge. 5. The estimated price of the tour is based on the international exchange rate between the U.S. Dollar and the British Pound as of January 25, 2016. The price of the tour may increase or decrease, if the exchange rate between these two currencies changes more than 3% by the final payment date. 6. Participants need to be in reasonably good health. There is no resident physician on Iona, but first-aid assistance is available. In a real emergency it is possible to be airlifted off the island. SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS Please make checks payable to Pathfinders Travel. Payment by credit card is possible; however, a supplement of 4% will be added to the payment to cover credit card fees. Deposit: $500.00 per person is due by June 1, 2016 Second Payment of $1,000.00 per person is due by December 1, 2016 Final Balance is due no later than March 10, 2017 CANCELLATION POLICY All notice of cancellation must be received in writing by Pathfinders Travel. If cancellation is received after registration is made and prior to December 1, 2016, $200.00 per person is nonrefundable. If cancellation is received between December 1, 2106 and March 9, 2017, $400.00 per person is nonrefundable. If cancellation is received on or after March 10, 2017, there will be no refund. TRAVEL INSURANCE Information regarding travel insurance will be provided to each person who registers for the tour. The purchase of insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment in this trip. You would especially need travel insurance if your own health insurance does not cover you while traveling outside of the USA, or to cover you for unexpected cancellation due to injury or illness of you or an immediate family member.

Pathfinders Travel, Inc. acts only as agent for the participants in regard to travel, whether by railroad, motor-coach, private car, boat, aircraft or any other conveyance, and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle or conveyance or through the acts of default of any company of persons engaged in conveying the participants or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. Pathfinders Travel, Inc. assumes no responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to any delay or changes in schedules. Pathfinders Travel, Inc. reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as participant in the tour and to make substitutions or change or withdraw the tour in the interest of the participants, as circumstances may demand.
