Great Viking history and a prolific producer of Aquavit. Ålesund Great scenic cruising from Ålesund and into Geirangerfjord. The town was recently voted the most beautiful town in Norway by one of the main newspapers. Located at the very entrance of the World Heritage listed Geirangerfjord and has a spectacular setting across several islands stretching out into the sea. Bergen Truly the gateway to the fjords. A UNESCO listed area right next to our central berth. Great scenic cruising for the last 2 hours approaching the port through narrow channels between the islands. Central berth, just 5 minutes stroll from the city center. Norway s second city has a fascinating Viking history. Bodø An off the beaten track port only accessible to smaller ships. The first port of call North of the Arctic Circle Long and beautiful summer days with the midnight sun shining all night. Brønnøysund An off the beaten track port only accessible to smaller ships. Great scenic cruising up the beautiful coast of Helgeland. A fantastic archipelago comprising more than 13,000 islands, islets and skerries. The World Heritage Island of Vega which is an UNESCO listed Archipelago. Copenhagen One of the Marquee, not-to-be-missed ports of the Baltic. A central berth close to the famous Little Mermaid. Capital of Denmark, full of palaces, state buildings and history. Within easy reach of Kronberg Castle & Roskilde Cathedral, both UNESCO Sites.

A vibrant city life, with Gaelic connection and an abundant of history. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Flåm Deep in the heart of Norway s fjords, some 100 miles from the open sea. Great scenic cruising for many hours before and after stopping here. Central berth, just 100 feet from the town (although we may sometimes be at anchor). Home to the famous Flåm Railway, one of the most spectacular scenic mountain railroads in the world. Gdańsk A great jumping-off point for the northern part of Poland. Close to one of the most impressive UNESCO-listed castles in the world, Malbork. See where the end of the Communist period started with the rise of the Solidarity Movement. Great medieval history in the nearby town of Gdańsk. Geiranger Deep in the heart of Norway s fjords some 100 miles from the open sea. Great scenic cruising for many hours before and after calling here. Central berth, just 100 feet from the town (although we can sometimes be at anchor). The UNESCO-protected Geirangerfjord is surrounded by majestic, snow-covered mountain peaks, wild waterfalls and lush, green vegetation. Harwich Harwich is a turnaround port only. At this point we have no plans to offer shore excursions as guests will be transferring to/from the airport only. Helsinki Capital city of Finland. UNESCO-listed Soumenlinna Fortress island in the harbor. A city on a human scale, low-density development and easy to explore. A wonderful archipelago of islands, the shorelines of which are dotted with the vacation homes of the rich and famous.

Kristiansund The beginning of the Atlantic Road which has been ranked the world s best road trip by the British newspaper The Guardian. Situated on four beautiful islands at the edge of the ocean, Kristiansund has a spectacular harbor, and it is an intimate, colorful and convivial town. Orkney Orkney's historic capital, Kirkwall, is centrally situated on the main island. A rich Viking history dating from 9th century and several prehistoric sites from 3rd millennium BC. Kirkwall is within close reach of The Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site (WHS) which includes Maeshowe, Skara Brae, the Stones of Stenness and adjacent standing stones and the Ring of Brodgar together with adjacent standing stones and burial mounds. St. Petersburg The crown jewel of the Baltic, a must-see destination. Amazing museums to some of which we will have behind-the-scenes access. UNESCO Sites too numerous to mention. With so much to see, we spend two full days here. Stavanger A charming coastal port with historic buildings but also a thriving modern oil drilling industry. Central berth, just 50 feet from the town s historic quarter. Within easy reach of stunning Lysefjord and the much-photographed Pulpit Rock. Stockholm Reached after 4½ hours of great scenic cruising through the Baltic s secondlargest archipelago made up of over 30,000 islands. Central berth, just 5 minutes stroll from the historic city center. Only small ships can get this close. Great Viking history, they were here in 1000 AD. A fabulous old town, great museums, palaces and one of the world s oldest restaurants.
Page 6 of 9 Ports of Call (continued) Tallinn A former Hanseatic League town, the center of which is UNESCO-listed. One of the not to be missed ports of the Baltic. Keep an eye out for Old Thomas this town guardian has been perched on the Town Hall spire since 1530. Tromsø Known as the Gateway to the Arctic and Paris of the North. Tromsø has a rich polar history, which guests may gain a good insight into at the Polar Museum. The largest northern city with a pulsating city with a vibrant nightlife, sociable and inclusive people and despite being so far north is an extremely urban destination. Shetland Islands The most northerly commercial harbor in the country. Ideally located midway between Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Norway and the Scottish mainland and Europe. Home to the iconic Shetland Ponies. A rich Viking history and some of the best well-kept finds. History that dates from the Mesolithic Era. Warnemünde (Berlin) Gateway to Berlin, Germany s capital, just away. Only a short distance from Rostock, once a thriving town in the Hanseatic League. Central berth, just 5 minutes walk from the town. For those who prefer to skip the ride to Berlin, there are miles of sandy beaches to relax on.
